Man, by watching the movie, now I can't go back and watch Aux Trésors for the life of me simply because of Joris' character design. I know it sounds stupid, but the lighter colors of his seven-year-old self and the fact that his face is actually darker and his jacket hoodie? Limousine? is a lighter blue really bothers me. Granted, dimly-lit scenes in the show are perfectly okay to watch in my opinion.

Look to >>83766803 and OP for download links. You can watch the Dofus series and jump straight to the movie without touching Wakfu, if you want. Might be ideal because Wakfu was Ankama's first cartoon and took a while to get good.

Some knowledge of the lore helps but it's pretty simple. Most 'classes' follow a God by the same name that give them power. Cat people being master gamblers and so on. It's not vastly important though.

Dally was a much better representation of the Iop, in my opinion: ignorant, but still competent to the point where we want to see him succeed and get the girl. Khan was just plain idiotic, didn't contribute anything in the long run, and didn't really deserve Bakara in the first place, let alone a position in the main cast. He should have stayed a side character.

I don't think they needed to cut out the romance sub-plot, I just think it would've been better suited for a different character. Perhaps a heroic one, or one that doesn't believe in "krozmatic balance".

To be honest, I wish there was no relationship sub-plot between Bakara and Khan. I think this sub-plot should've really shifted over to Joris and Lilotte, considering how much they cared about each other in the film with Joris' "I won't let anyone hurt Lilotte," as well as Lilotte herself screaming Joris' name for half the movie.
