Finally back after deploying 2 Nazi aircraft carrier [light 44 plane capable] in Hearts of Iron 4...and got pretty dragged by the game, its 1940 and I have scored partial naval victories with 5 destroyers on my side destroyed, for 1 battleship and many cruisers and DDs from the royal navy-----but enought of that!

Couldn't answer last week 'cause thread died. If you are here, Bagel, this your fic is great, just like Blinds. At the cost of losing precious parts of my skin I can't really find anything wrong with it. It's a good mix with canon characters and /sveg/ characterization: obliviously sexually aggressive and cheerful Star, spaghetti dropper Marco, starco shipper Angie, mischievous Janna (well, that's canon...).

My initial theory is that since Tom thinks that Marco and Star are dating, he shapeshifts into the latino dork to make him look as unlikeable as possible to everyone, including Star, in the hope that she may "break up" with him.

Alternatively, "smooch buddies" is something similar to Scrubs' "wiener cousins", but here it means that both Star and Marco got their first kiss from their respective crushes.

Still, it would be pretty OOC for Marco to say something like that with a straight face.

I suck at writing & reading, so I wouldn't really be able to give constructive criticism, but I lost myself a little in the transition from "reality" to Marco fighting off Janna's traps. But you probablu wanted it to be just like that, or I just read it too quickly. Overall another awesome work, you are really good both with dialogues and scenes descriptions

I'd say fighting games like SF 4 for Marco and Kirby for Star. Marco with fighting games probably because the series has always been popular with High school and middle school guys. And is probably a game him and Ferg play all the time.
For Star, she'd just be playing a virtual her. I wrote about 35k words of fanfiction for SvtFoE. It was about 80% of the fic I wanted to make. Then I got burned out and stopped, and now S2 is going to add so much stuff that I'd probably need to rewrite most of it because I wanted to keep it as close to canon as possible.

It's about a magical alien princess from another dimension who gets sent to Earth under foreign exchange care to learn to behave more civilly. Along the way she meets Marco, gets a pair of dimensional scissors, and goes on a bunch of fun adventures with him.

It's a decent series but you seriously need thick tolerance in the beginning, because it really drives people away with how badly channeled its zaniness is. It gets better on average as it goes on.

Oh my god, /sveg/, A miracle just happened! Now that I needed it the most!

I dunno if you remember that my 3DS, which is what I use to draw and do ugly animations, was having connection issues with the camera that caused it to crash when accessing the image app and related things.

Well if you recall a mini miracle happened that allowed me to upload single pictures with a bit of luck, the thing is the connection was so feeble opening the ACTUAL image manager app on the console would always cause a crash.

But now I tested it (I do it every days in hopes... you know... never hurts to check and dont lose hope.) and IT WORKS! I dont know why but it works!

You know what this means??? I CAN ANIMATE AGAIN!

...Well sadly this happened after I had a particularly bad art related week and my ability to draw is currently dead... but hey it means that when that spark returns, if it does, I can go back to do ugly animations for you guys!

I did a serious cleanup of the images saved on my 3DS memory, I still had in there all the frames from the last 2 animations I made just because i forgot to delete them, they take too much space so is nice to finally be rid of it.

I am not sure when I will get the "spark" to be creative back, but I feel season 2 could be the key. but my 3DS working well again sure puts me in a much better mood by itself.

I tend to draw a lot of frames in my animations, for no particular reason other than I like to, but since I have to upload them frame by frame when I reach a certain amount of frames I usually start to use less and less frames so the animation becomes choppier and choppier as it goes on, Pic related is a good example of this.

Also I have this problem where I accirendally ofset lines by a pixel or so so many of my animations look like they shrink, I was trying to solve that when tragedy struck and lost my ability to upload because a console malfunction!

And you would be totally right, I am as unprofessional as I can be and I use not a single proper method to animate, I have seen animations with a fraction of the amount of frames I use that look way better and have more "weight" to them, but in a way if I do things the proper way I feel it would not be as fun even if the result would be way better.

Regrettably, not much.
Yesterday I've spent half a hour deciding the outline color of her hair, then took a long break, then tried to come up with the "happy" expression — which looked frankly creepy, and I'll have to redo from scratch.

While coming up with the default pose itself was very stimulating, somewhere I've hit a block of some kind: hopefully I'll sort out my difficulties soon.

I'd point you to a few learning resources for animation (which I myself barely skimmed, actually), but by now I know that as an animator, you're more concerned in having fun than in getting flashy results: which is perfectly fine, again, as your method results in very charming animations.

Yup, the first frame is so awful because I did it during the micro tutotial that plays when you first launch the app. the last frame is more detailed than the rest because was when I got used to it, but it just makes the whole thing look even worse!

But that horrible thing has a lot of sentimental value, the first thing I ever anmated with a proper animation tool and without any kind of knowledge, its "special" in that kinda "dont say retarded" way. How offensive!
