About my place in /sveg/, though, I'm less optimistic: oh, I'm sure it's going to be an awesome general, and I'll continue stop by here for days on end. Though if my contributions ever became unnecessary (which I deem likely) or even unrequited (which is at the very least possible), then I would fall back to my old habit of lurking.
It's not a matter of haters: I feel I'd be the worst Anon ever, if I couldn't "buy" my participation to the discussions with fics or drawings — that's the reason I get antsy when I stay unproductive for too long!

ForeverVirgin passed away few weeks ago. He seriously did. I'm writing this just now because just recently I got acces to his PC. He had mentioned to me that he used to flame some subforum dedicated to his waifu's cartoon. Apparently he decided to just let it go and just act full crazy on the internet where nobody could recognize him. Although he was a douche to you, he often mentioned that guys here are cool and he was also impressed how well they handled his weirdness. In the same time the similar story was going on in the real world; when he was feeling relatively good you could talk to him and get no bullshit, interact with him and have a good time. When he was feeling down he was mostly avoiding or acting stupid on purpose to leave him be. I don't know what more to say. During his last days this fucking cartoon meant everything to him. He was normal, the closer to the end the lesser he cared, that's the bottom line.

The fact you can dislike someone or even hate them and still admit its personal differences rather than them being a terrible person, that they have good points and aren't just bad is a very rarely taught, but valuable lesson for kids.

Having them team up for an Episode to, I don't know, save Star (Wand goes wild and drives her crazy or something) and showing that in his own pretty unhealthy way Tom does care about her as well and has his own Virtues (Its just none of them are ones conductive for a healthy relationship, or are overshadowed by his temper)
Then turning it around by having Tom expect Marco to support him in talking to Star or something at the end, Marco refusing and Tom being frustrated at the fact that to show they still have different, conflicting goals and so on, could be pretty fantastic.

I ronically I like toffee because he is such a horrible manipulative asshole, I like that I dont like him if that makes any sense, is clear he hates Ludo and every single one of his minions but he puts with it for his goals.

That makes him such an effective villain, he is like an adult among children, Star is clearly way more powerful than he is and yet his smarts is what makes him always stay 3 steps ahead of everyone else. He is menacing for simple reasons.

Compare to a villain like Bill Cipher that is hyped as a menace because he is all powerful and all knowing, then comes the finale and he ends on his knees begging for his life and before that he gets punked over and over, all that crap about his power and knowledge to hype him up only for him to be a total idiot at the end, that makes him for me a terrible villain. Toffe being weaker than the heroes ends getting exactly what he wants in the end, and Bill being an ALL POWERFUL GOD gets punked by some kids and old men.

Bottom line, I like toffee because he for me is a great villain that doesnt need to be overhyped to be good.

Ironically though, Bill Cipher himself would also be a great villain for this show: Star wants to have fun with others, Bill at the cost of others. Two sides of the same medal.

My bet is that Marco is possesed/shapeshifted by Tom and he's just saying that. Because I doubt a show would just confirm random shipping in a trailer.

I'd say what makes Toffee such an effective, dangerous villain is because he's understated.
He has what I've always liked to call Predatory Stillness.
Compare two men in your head, one who thinks he can fuck you up and one that can.
I imagine that instantly in your head the louder and more in your face one is the first one, because he knows he has something to prove.

Predators don't expend energy needlessly, they don't bother with big displays because being loud doesn't get you dinner, waiting, watching and then a single, perfect action does.
Toffee doesn't bother with the cliches, he waits, he plans and then he takes the one thing from Star that could get her to kill the wand.
Minimal energy expenditure for maximum benefit, no fucking about, no dramatic speeches, no need for Hype or ego. Just unrelenting, dangerous practicality.
