Ultimate Marvel Storytime
>What's being storytimed?
Ultimate Marvel, later known as Ultimate Comics, was an imprint of comic books published by Marvel Comics, featuring re-imagined and updated versions of the company's superhero characters from the Ultimate Universe. The imprint was launched in 2000 with the publication of the series Ultimate Spider-Man and Ultimate X-Men, providing new original stories for the characters. The Marvel Multiverse, which comprises an infinite number of galaxies and alternate universes, calls this universe Earth-1610.
>Why are you doing this?
Because there's a lot of good stuff that people ignored that deserves recognition and even the bad stuff can be fun.
>Why this order?
I originally planned on doing USM to Death of Spider-Man, but I want to do the rest now. I've separated things into groups for convenience.
>Where can I catch up?

>>83421653
It's a very cool cover
>>83421380
This page always get me. Millar was on fire during this arc.
I find it weird we never learn who was in the armor.

>>83420902
I'm kinda pissed we had a new daredevil and he was quickly killed off. He could've been a cool character.
>>83422941
It's never revealed.
>>83422958
Millar said on his forums that he killed all his new characters because he didn't want anyone else using them.

weird as fugg
Why is there a russian thor ?
Can everyone lift his hammer ?
>>83423100
He kills them so no one can use them?
That seems... childish. I can kinda understand but dammit. Ray seemed like he could've been a neat character.
The first time I read this I was so pissed

i miss the ultimate universe pre-ultimatum.
but i guess i still miss it in general too.
>>83423917
Same. I miss post-Ultimatum more though. The universe needed Ultimatum, it had become too much like 616 and this really kicked it's ass into high gear. Post-DOSM was also incredibly, but got bogged down by Miles. Spencer and Hickman were on fire

You'd think with eternal life and super speed and everything, some vampires would learn how to duck.

kek
I'm glad you're still chugging along, I always missed a couple issues whenever someone posted these separately. Bump.

True. Cataclysm was necessary, but not the way it went down I'd say. It could have been done better.
What really killed the line I think was the fact that post-Cataclysm pre-DOSM comics were really shitty except Spidey, and then Post-DOSM we lost both Hickman and Spencer fairly early, and they were doing fantastic stuff.
>>83425172
Hickman and Spencer were post-Death of Spider-Man. Post-Cataclysm was atrocious with the exception of Fialkov's writing. The art of Ultimate FF was shit, All-New Ultimates was shit, and Bendis brought Peter back for no reason.

The gun would've killed Cap even if it in the knees, also Frank got over shooting Spider-Man pretty quickly after his "Punish Me!" bit. You know, I'd like to see Millar on a Punisher ongoing.

Well, that was something.
