As for the Loud House hiatus maybe they just wanted to finish some eps or something.

And regarding nudity in Loud House, I honestly salute them for not shying away from it. It adds to the intimate atmosphere of the show and makes everything seem more natural. I'm used to that sorta thing IRL, living in Dalmatia. Our beaches swarm with naked kids and it's about as common and uninteresting as seeing a cloud. Point is I was always bothered by the hysterical US reaction to nudity, so it's refreshing to see something I consider natural.

It's also both amusing and kinda cringy to see some of you make a fuss about it.

Harvey Beaks is the more creative show, but something has to be said of Loud House's crisp delivery. Something I just kind of realized is that Loud House can do a lot of stories in such a small setting. All of the plots so far take place either mostly or completely at this one house, except Hand Me Downer where a lot of it takes place outside with Lincoln riding Lynn's bike around. Wanna hear a joke?

I just realized why I find this show so endearing, beyond how technically accomplished and well-acted it is.

One of the best decisions this show made was to keep the parents largely out of the picture. Without appealing to authority figures (outside of one gag with Lola which fits her character), Lincoln and the girls resolve problems among themselves. The resolutions feel organic, and the girls are not made out to be enemies. By relying on mutual understanding and concessions, it avoids the grating injustice that seems to dominate shows of this type.

It's almost like a board without mods.

This show is 'comfy' at best and is formulaic at worst. That'll get boring and stale fast trust me. The creators themselves said they're rely on status quo. Status quo was never good and will never be good. I hated it even as a child and now that I'm a manchild I hate it even more. Even Hey Arnold had story progression in its heyday.

I believe what was said was there's no overarching story, but there would be continuity. We might still get some developments over time. Because cartoon creators never got to get close to the bitch/bad girl in their school days. They want to recreate that girl but she's a mystery to them, so they give her reasons for behaving the way she does, which makes an endearing character. The only problem is that bitch they knew in school most likely had no good reason for being awful, she just was.

Lori's a bit more mixed than how Pacifica started out. Her personality is more tied to her age and role as oldest sister, not just what her character is, so I doubt it can change much more than it is now. I imagine if she does any more maturing it would mainly be in what Chris would want to do for the finale, which would cover her moving out for college.

Lori doesn't really have the same role as Pacifica. Pacifica was a bully who teased and mocked Mabel, while Lori is an older sister who likes her little brother even though she can be a bit irritable and bossy. Pacifica's relationship with the protags was that of a hated rival, while Lori's relationship with Lincoln is that of a loving sister.

Ronnie Anne is probably closer to the bitch/bad guy, but she's still not the same as Pacifica who teased out of insecurity and an active dislike of those she felt were beneath her. A character description of RA mentions she likes pranking people, so the bullying she did in Heavy Meddle was just her having fun, similar to Luan's pranks.
