Unless Peridot specifically states that Quartzes are only an Earth made gem (which would be something as quartz is common among the galaxy), the idea Jasper was made on earth really seems like a long shot.

I really hope Sugar can save the character of Yellow Diamond. I had really high hopes for the Diamonds. I want calculating leaders, a cut above the monster of the week the gems used to fight. I want actual emotional manipulation and strategy from them.

I really want to see the heroes at their lowest, like at the end of "the Return" . It will make defeating YD all the more rewarding.

Because right now YD is just another joke character and that worries me. Without a decent villain this show is just spinning its wheels.
