I love how in the post-Empire galaxy people are already starting to think that the exploits of the Rebel Alliance are all a myth. You do make some good points, though what always got me was how they never tried to hide the involvement of the Jedi. In Lightsaber Lost when Ahsoka is chasing that Jango Jumper we see Chancellor Palpatine on the jumbotron talking about how he has every faith in the Jedi to win the war but that they just need a little more power which is why he supports some overt legislative power grab he no doubt benefits from more than the Jedi.

Though it's sitting in the middle of rush hour air traffic with people zipping by too fast to listen so...okay maybe that's how he hid his war updates about the Jedi. I take it all back.

What? Tarkin was from Eriadu world, an Outer Rim world. It's not a core accent it's an aristocratic accent.

Rather than an accent that's divided by worlds it is an accent divided by classes. And one that some people, especially Imperial Officers, were faking to be cool. Obi-Wan was apparently raised in an aristocratic family before being taken by the Jedi.

They really did honestly. Dooku knew what the fuck he was doing, he just got the rug pulled out from under him. I don't even personally consider him to be Darth Tyrannus and more just a Dark Jedi honestly trying to save the Republic, an Anti-hero really.

That and General Kleeve in the Kanan comic with how he was trying to legit save the Republic and where it was going and that he didn't have entirely too ill will at first glance against Kanan.

It makes you wonder why the First Order doesn't use Droids honestly, they were pretty damn deadly and easily mass produced. Without the Jedi around the Republic would have lost and even then they were having some massive problems with the CIS.

He, and far more accurately Sidious, know what he was doing which was tapping into pre-existing frustration over the Republic's preoccupation with the rich core worlds over the mid-to-Outer Rim. Ironically the Trade Federation blockade of Naboo is a prime example of that since it was far enough away that the Senate felt they could just ignore it letting the special interests, i.e. the corrupt bureaucracy, have it's way.

The Tarkin novel deals with this a bit as Eriadu as Tarkin felt a close friendship and shared political view of the galaxy with Palpatine because their worlds were Outer Rim and near Outer Rim respectively. Palpatine's rise as Chancellor was supposed to be someone from their part of the galaxy who would fix the system, however long it takes. That's why Tarkin throws his lot in with the Republic and is 100% behind the Empire. They're no longer narrowly focused on the Core Worlds, they're focused on the entire galaxy. Okay they're doing so as a spreading military occupation but hey what does he care? They're in charge. Despite Dooku wanting to recruit Tarkin I doubt Tarkin would have joined him, despite their friendship.

I've always wanted to see a what-if scenario like Emperor Skywalker on What if the CIS had won? Palpatine clearly wouldn't have any power anymore, would he have went into hiding, or would he continue to lead Dooku and the CIS from behind the scenes and then revealed himself? What would Dooku have done, he got what he wanted, he may have turned on Sidious himself like all Sith do, but also let the Jedi continue living potentially and may have even went back or exposed his secret galactic wise.

I'd love to see a Dooku/CIS winning what-if comic.

I still say Dooku came close to actually winning the war, and I don't mean invading Coruscant and capturing the Chancellor. If it hadn't been for Meebur Gascon, of all people, and a certain droid based team.,,

That rogue Venator would have killed Tarkin, the top naval commanders of the Republic, probably more than a few Senators, and members of the Jedi Council including Windu and Obi-Wan, not to mention it would have killed The Chosen One Anakin Skywalker himself.

Severally cripple the Jedi Council and the Republic military in a single brazen attack, leave them in disarray allowing a surge in the Droid Army into Republic space. The CIS could have conquered the Republic and Dooku would have been at the head of his own Empire with Chancellor Palpatine declared public enemy #1 if he managed to escape.

No clue if this was actually Dooku's plot or somehow it was planned and executed without his knowledge, which seems very unlikely.

Who knows honestly, but you do have a point. It is a very weird situation in terms of the war though. Because ultimately the Separatists did basically win and overthrow the Republic/Empire, granted they had a lot of help from the former Grand Republic defectors joining the Rebellion. It is interesting to say the least though just how large the Clone Wars are still basically going on, different named factions and no longer Droids/Clones, but it's largely still the Clone Wars when you get down to it.

Also interesting that Lucas decided to have those against corruption be the 'bad guys' solely because Palpatine was secretly behind them and they were against the Republic, despite the Republic being even more corrupt and also behind Palpatine. You'd figure he'd make an actual evil threat to the Republic and Palpatine just happens to also be evil himself, but the Republic largely un-corrupt leading to the Rebellion, as opposed to most of them jumping ship once they found out about the Death Star and Alderaan.

Well I can't imagine a lot of the surviving Generals and Captains that weren't arrested didn't take part in the Rebellion at least somewhat, potentially not directly, but more along the lines of a WW2 moment with the US/CA and stuff sending supplies to Britain during the Air Raids if you will.

I could definitely see former CIS Worlds trying to actively send some supplies best they could to the Rebellion, as they started to grow and they realized they weren't just little pocket cells like Ghost Crew. We do have Kaller in the Kanan comic and Gamut Key actively helping out too, not entirely directly, but a big time Senator that was once occupied by the CIS and while they don't care for who they bow too regardless, they were largely part of a CIS world at some point, not part of their ideaology, but it fits the bill, especially when you have Kleeve years later willing to help Kanan despite being a Jedi and former member of the Republic.

But you are right, most of the new tikes and kiddos brought up just knew of the Empire and all info on the Jedi, CIS, etc. were likely all stiffed pretty heavily.

Speaking of which, we largely have a list of what worlds where with the CIS, but do we have an entire list of what worlds where with the Rebellion, beyond what was stated in the movies and just general rebel bases, because a base doesn't entirely denote the planet as part of the Rebellion.

You should look at the Mythos Statues. You can't find a Vader one from hardly under $700, most of the $350 were bought up quick and being scalped, same with the Boba and the Obi-Wan Mythos Statues.

They're already updating Sabine too in a set coming out this summer. No helmet either, so that'll be in another super expensive set no doubt (though I'd guess the A-Wing versus Vader's TIE is going to be $59.99). No clue why Tarkin and Sabine are even there. Her outfit looks a bit better but her hair is terrible.

And also coming out is Fifth Bro in the same set as old Rex, Wolffe, and Gregor in their AT-TE, which will be another ungodly expensive set.

I've got two display cases full of Star Wars stuff just in my place, on top of Gunplas. Got them all in nice little battle scenes or just for display purposes because they look nice.

Occasionally I'll grab some of the Stormtroopers I have and just go take some nice little pics out in the yard, got a few somewhere of them 'fighting' my dogs or little frogs and stuff I found, just fun stuff man.

Hell I spent a shit ton just on art supplies too and I don't even go through all the stuff I have there, but I have it just in case. Trust me, if you like what you invest in, you can never have too much shit.

I know that One Piece completely ripped him off but I've never seen the film so I can't say what the film versions world views are. I was more referring that Kleeve and Issho were working for the opposing side(Marines/Cis) of the protagonists and were of high rank however, despite being ruled by evil(World Government/Dooku or Sheev), both knew the corruption of their leaders yet fought for peace/freedom and ended up respecting the protagonist. Despite having lost one eye, I can assure you that Kleeve is not blind and is not a sword user though
