So I watched collide for the tenth time

What was with the black and white ending? I still don't get it. Was it to signify no more acts even though Act 7 happened right after? I mean Act 7 didn't open with anything about the curtains and gears besides the white curtain parting open on Calliope.

Do troll quadrant combinatorics actually WORK? It's apparently a goal of troll species members to fill all their quadrants... but one of the quadrants is about the continuing unwanted relationship between two other people. If there is only one continuing unwanted relationship per person, only half that number can fill the quadrant for mediating it. Meaning that each troll must produce TWO continuing unwanted relationships with different trolls to produce enough relationships for everyone to be mediating one.

So really an "ideal" relationship map of those stupid alien fucks means they have 1 redrom fuckbuddy, 1 blackrom fuckbuddy, 1 palerom cuddlebuddy, 1 pair of friends who are compelled to blackrom fuck but shouldn't, and 2 compulsions to blackrom fuck people they shouldn't. EACH.

Then on top of that we have to place restrictions on the final chart of stable relationships: rails shouldn't pail, black and red can theoretically coincide, black and grey would not overlap between the two conflicting members of a pair, but other quadrants probably CAN and the mediator is just preventing vaccilation...
