Vriska isn't evil. She's worse than that. She's banal. Boring. Overused like a torn rag. She became a narrative crutch that Hussie used over, and over, and over, and over, until her joke of being the 'Thief of Light' became a legitimately pitiful and exhausting thing to deal with. Hussie let so many characters starve and die that never should have existed while she just kept coming BACK.

She was a legit fun to hate character who just got overused into paper-thin oblivion, because Hussie is a really really bad writer.

Both were good. The music he did for both had their own theme and style and strengths, and I think he's a great musician in this field. It makes you so far out when you're high enough that your brain is firing all kinds of fucked up weird ideas, you cross the streams, lose track of time and thought, and start to come up with insane ideas. It's perfectly likely some dumbass who was that cooked would come up with that idea while trying to read. Vriska's arc remained barely decent after she died (can't believe I'm typing this), but from the retcons onward she stopped being a character and became a tool, a wrench, all shiny and chrome and flawless.
A device reduced to one purpose: fixing the timeline, just like how Aranea's sole point had been to ruin the timeline before Game Over.
In the end, Hussie's nonsensical writing did her a disservice almost as glaring as it did to the rest of the cast. She's just another victim to the Rush to Act Seven.
And from a meta standpoint that would have almost been a hilarious fate if it hadn't resulted in this abomination of an ending.
May the God of writers have mercy on Hussie's stained soul.
