They'll need to find out who Kevin's supplier is, which would be easier if he wasn't dead. The supplier probably isn't Farnsworth himself, he just made the things because of some kinda string theory box or something (there's greentext for this somewhere) and the Red Guy bought them off of him.

So anyway, I've been filling in the cast section in the part 4 doc with the stand abilities from the pastebin since no one did that yet and it's making me realize we're missing a bunch of info.

What is the red guy's stand?

If he doesnt already have one, [DEVIL IN DISGUISE] would be a good name if it's not used already.

I heard that most of the stand suggestions for the gang members in part 6 are going to be scrapped for less clutter.

So um, a quick question because I'm trying to work in the Tadashi Death Scene from last thread into the Part 4 doc, should Hiro know that its Jawbreakers and be actively looking for the source by the time the [Men at Work] attempt to scam him, or should he be completely oblivious until the [Men at Work] find it out from Gumball later at tell him about it?

Since discussion seems to have slowed down for some reason, here are some suggestions for the trapped Stands that Stan has to deal with when he tries to scam Madam Foster.

>「I’M BLUE」: Generates a noxious blue gas from its head that causes headaches and skin irritation.
>「BASKETBALL」: Can double or half the length of anything it touches, which can be used to cause crippling deformities or to extend its own reach.
>「FEAR OF THE DARK」: Gains immunity to any form of attack as long as the Stand fears the source of the attack, can be circumvented by making the Stand feel at ease.
>「COCONUT WOMAN」: Traps objects it passes through in invisible ‘egg-like’ balloons that restrict movement and can only be broken by piercing them with a sharp object.
>「BETTER THAN YOU」: Boasting about an ability one possesses in this Stand’s presence will cause it to gain the same ability of a level that surpasses the initial boast.
>「YELLOW SUBMARINE」: Body is comprised of a sticky substance makes any surface it touches function like quicksand, sucking things into it.

The idea, if it wasn't immediately obvious is that they are based on some of the original residents of Foster's Home.「BETTER THAN YOU」and 「FEAR OF THE DARK」are suggestions from previous threads that were tagged to Imaginary Friends so they are also included here.

Hey, what if the Disney princesses in Part 4 aren't killed or otherwise defeated by the Conman Coalition, and instead they get rubbed out by Jay and Bob?
They were going to crusade against the serial killer society and kill Cruella, and if we let them fight against the three princesses individually they have more of an impact.

Also, many don't start out as direct confrontations. Often times a character has to figure out what the hell is going on before they can fight back.
I'd suggest that some of the Stand users that aren't killed act as temporary allies, or at least help steer the protagonists towards their goal.

That idea really needs some development since it hasn't come up much in the story outline.

I figure when Stan is running around the house being chased off and Gadget is having tea with Madam Foster, there could be some background things to establish something sinister might be happening somewhere in the house, but it won't be expanded on until the serial killer part of the story when they re-visit the house and Stan knows the layout from his first visit.

They find out Foster is just a pawn in all this, maybe Frankie is being held hostage by the LHC to keep her compliant. Once they get Frankie out of harm's way, the madam flips the tables on any LHC members inside her house, trapping them forever.

I tend to stay focused on whichever part we're currently working on.

I thought including Frankie as way for the LHC to control Madam Foster would make for a good way to have Madam Foster go full calm rage once she's rescued and dismantle much of the LHC who are inside of her house.

I suppose Mac could work just as well in Frankie's place for this idea if having her in both parts 4 and 6 would cause a problem.

Basically what >>81443995 said. I wrote that part to imply not everyone who ingests a jawbreaker will get a Stand. Tadashi lacks any real fighting spirit so I don't see him really getting a Stand.

A lot of the kids in town have stands, but do you think the ones who couldn't control them got help from Madam Foster who took possession of their stands before they could kill their child users? This is what put her on the LHC's "people to blackmail" list.

I think Coraline would be the one to help them just based off her stand, but she doesn't know what to do with the stands after catching them. She takes them to this nice lady down the block who loves all the local kids for advice, and that's when they realize their stands work well together and they go from there. Might require some tweaking of Coraline's powers, though.

Alright, so building off my suggestion for Felix in the last thread, I was thinking he could become a minor ally in Part 5, since Part 4 is pretty crowded and already has Hiro. Maybe he's married to a police officer (Calhoun) who recently visited a crime scene that was caused by the villains. Since Stand users tend to attract each other, he could become curious and accidentally gets involved in a fight where he discovers 「BUILD ME UP BUTTERCUP」. He wouldn't necessarily have to be a major ally, just show up every now and again.

Since [Move things over] does not have any type of attacks, Stick needs to use his own physical strength and wits to battle his enemies.

Stand Name: [BANANA MAN]

Appearance: 5 floating heads with clown facepaint and big googly eyes, with the colors being gray, blue, red, yellow and green. [BANANA MAN REQUIEM] takes the form of a man wearing a button shirt with a red tie with the same big googly eyes and clown face paint similar to the floating heads, except this time it's white.

Abilties: [BANANA MAN] asks another person if they want a banana. If they accept, they will be given a banana. When eaten, the person who ate the banana will fall under control of one of the stand's floating heads. Along with taking control of the user, it can also gain control of their stand too, the stand can break free from the curse however.

[BANANA MAN REQUIEM] brings in all bananas from a surrounding area of 500 feet and sets them on fire. Banana Man (the user) then begins to dance around the fire. This activates the [SPIRIT GAME]. When Banana Man shouts out a defeated stand users name, a weakened version of them and a weakened version of their stand jumps out of the fire. Keep in mind these are weakened versions of both the user and the stands. They will then fight any stand user Banana Man tells them to fight. Banana Man can only summon 3 users at once. If he summons a 4th one, the 1st one jumps back into the flame and disappears. The [SPIRIT GAME] is deactivated if the fire is extinguished or it goes out.

I figure he starts out as a minor villain in part 7, not seeming like much of a threat and being easily dispatched by the protagonists. Upon gaining [BANANA MAN REQUIEM] though, he ends up as a major villain later in the story. One that requires the protagonists to do their best to defeat.

I was thinking the exact same thing, so would there be any objection if I changed the criteria for how 「Grass Is Greener」absorbs Stands? Like it can only take the Stand if the user gives them up willingly and is also in a weakened physical state? If we are going for Coraline as a Stand-user who is helping people who can't control their Stands I think this would work without it being too powerful.

Yeah, I'm more in favor of Coraline and Madam Foster not being members of the LHC. They team up to keep the city's population of children form dying since it's mostly kids getting stands from the jawbreakers.

The LHC can take notice of this and take some kids or loved ones hostage to force them into aiding the club if we use that idea.

While Gadget is having tea with Madam Foster, she could be subtly dropping hints to Gadget as to what's really going on and how she's being coerced, but Gadget doesn't pick up on them until much later. Coraline not working for the LHC, but still trying to get Stan out of the house works this way too since she doesn't want Stan or anyone snooping around and seeing the kind of stuff that's been happening in the house, if she fails to run them off they'd be sent a kid's head in a box or something.

It'd also be a reason why Stan gets away while keeping his stand.

In fact, a lot of the rich people dying could be attributed to them eating the jawbreakers. It gives the rich people who ate them and lived a superiority complex.

Pretty much, but she's busy talking to Gadget while Stan is in the house, so Coraline is the one trying to chase him off.

They don't want Gadget to go snooping in the house since he'd get killed, but they do want him to pick up some of the hints they're laying down so he can find the LHC members. If Gadget and Stan meet in the house, it'd cause problems.

I figure this can come into play when Penny is going through her uncle's notes, he really did pick up on the hints, he just didn't understand them until after he got his stand.

Stand name: ｢WEIRD SCIENCE｣
Appearance: A large, mechanical egg with robot feet.
Ability: When the stand is activated, it turns any inanimate object the doctor touches into a mechanical weapon, regardless of it's size or shape. It can also weaponize any vehicle as well.
I think he would be best fit as a reoccurring minor antagonist in part 7, trying to sabotage the other racers but ultimately failing spectacularly every time.

Here's a thought.

If Fred tries to turn something that Double D has labeled into a razor, would he fail to do so?

If their final battle against Fred happens on Danny the Street, and if Double D labeled absolutely fucking everything on that street as a trap for when they get Fred there, would Danny be unable to manipulate the street while it's labeled? If Fred removes a label, would Danny be able to use whatever he removed the label from to fight Fred with?

I'm just unclear as to how Danny works, and I keep thinking it was Danny Phantom instead of whatever Danny it's supposed to be because he's Danny and a ghost.

I think Daffy should be the catalyst for people developing stands on their own without jawbreakers, like what happened with Fred.

Farnsworth making the jawbreakers could've been accidental, or intentional because he saw what was happening to certain people when confronted with people they knew turning into a duck, so he wanted to see if he could make something that would cause a person to undergo the same awakening.
Then he forget what the machine that makes them was for and sold the jawbreakers before remembering and doing it again.

Eds vs Hector summary. Fuller version on the doc:

Ramshackle Man: a medival armored or militaristic-looking bear
Lick It Up: a demonic, gremlin-like stand with a massive tongue (not mind-blowingly long, given its short range; about the width of a pizza box and say 5 feet long)
Nasty Piece of Work: a blank-faced humanoid punch ghost, missing the top of its head and its stomach. these parts show several gears, which rotate whenever it is in action (changing energies or simply attacking)

Is gadget incompetent? is he full blown idiot with cyborg parts like the cartoon, or more of a capable, almost noir-ish guy who's just out of the loop with Stands and this weird town?

Roughly how old are the eds supposed to be? assuming it's a short time from part 3. We talking aged up to their twenties, or they still just teens who know how to bite off more than they can chew?

Can people see Stands' affects, like Stan's money? might be more of me not knowing Jojo enough than anything else, but if Stan, say, turns a piece of candy into a quarter, people will see it and assume it was a sleight of hand trick, right?

How does Nasty Piece of Work... work? My understanding of physics is pretty garbage, so the best I've been able to come up with is he could tap a stationary object and rocket it into whatever direction he wanted proportional to its mass

As much as that would help I actually don't think we can cut off Stand Suggestions. I say this because I've been trying to get some of the unassigned Stand users assigned to parts and realized that not all of them can be bashed into the roles required of them.

To clarify, we are potentially in need of a corrupt law enforcement officer for Penny to fight during the LHC investigation and the identity of the assassin that Scrooge fights off with Gadget is still unknown. In addition, as >>81467188 said some parts either need more cast members (Part 8) or more variation in cast members (Part 6). The scripts of the project will also always be in flux until eventual finalization, potentially creating more roles that none of the currently suggested Stand users can actually fill.

I also don't want the project to wind up killing creativity on my account, so if there must be a limit perhaps we could explain the specific character types we are looking for (i.e. Prisoners for Part 6, Villains for Part 8, Corpse part Guardians for Part 7 .etc), that way we don't end up with more characters suggestions than we need.

I'm pretty sure this version of Gadget we're using is based off of an old /co/ project where he was Noir-ish. He's not incompetent, he just looks that way.

People should be able to see the money Stan makes with his stand, parts in the story don't work if they can't (paying at the dinner, donating to the gala).

The Eds are probably early 20s, they're probably around Tom's age. I think at least a year should've gone by from the end of part 3 to the beginning of part 4 since Double D got shot full of holes near the end of it, and you don't heal from that in a week.

Several rich people begin dying (jawbreaker "poisoning")
The LHC comes out of hiding and resumes their activities now that Daffy (and by extension Lowly) are dead.

Double D takes like 8 months to heal because he took machine gun fire to the torso.

By the time everything is in place, a year would've needed to go by minimum.

Nasty Piece of Work works like this, easiest way I can explain it. Say NPoW touches a bullet that is fired from a gun. Now, eventually the bullet loses too much of it's kinetic energy and begins to fall until it just putters out and hits the ground. If NPoW uses it's power, at any point in the bullets trajectory it will 'switch' energies, and will just drop. Now, as the bullet is falling, it will gather potential energy. At any point in this phase, NPoW can 'switch' again, and all the potential energy the bullet gathered from it's fall will convert to kinetic energy, and thus it will return immediately to what it was doing before; shooting, of course it will shoot in whatever direction it was now facing, so it has to be timed properly, but essentially NPoW can completely dominate moving objects and release projectiles that can possibly fly around endlessly.

Lick It Up just completely erases kinetic energy, where as Nasty Piece of Work converts kinetic energy into potential and vice verse. So I've been trying to develop the Part 4 script and worked a bit on Jay & SB during the scam section of the Part. Just going to summarize what I came up with for their role during that.

Glad you liked it. I sort of meant that J&SB generally try to steer Gadget away from Stand battles when they are with him, like in the doc they keep him from interfering with Stan VS Billy and [Men at Work] VS Hiro & Gogo. They aren't with him all the time though, which is when the two Stand Battles Gadget gets into happen.

The first would be where he pulls the PPG & [Men at Work] apart and flashes his badge to get them to quit whatever it is they were doing. Not really a fight per say, but it doesn't make him any less of a badass to be able to stop a Stand Battle without knowing what they are.

The fight with the assassin Flintheart sent after Scrooge hasn't been elaborated yet (I'm thinking we could use The Beast from OtGW with some tweaking to its current ability) but I presumed that it was largely thanks to Scrooge that they managed to win, and for the most part Scrooge was trying to keep Gadget in the dark about Stands as well because he thought Gadget had suffered enough trauma as is without trying to involve himself in Stand battles.

Its really Pyg that ends up being a real threat like you said because Pyg's Stand would completely shut down Gadget's gadgets if he didn't develop [Human After All] from the Jawbreaker he got from the Ed Boys. I figured it would be a good opportunity for J&SB to have their first real battle here too where they use their Stands for combat rather than mundane utility, even if they do need to get bailed out by Gadget by the end of it.

Should we have a small back-story part with the Warden meeting Daffy in part 6 or not?

The only character that comes me to mind right now about being a cop, corrupt and belonging to cartoons is Chief Wiggum, but even then his corrupt side was mostly used as a gag in The Simpsons and he was never portrayed as overly malicious.

I thought of an Ariel stand forever ago, didn't really see a need to post it for any specific reason but I guess since the idea is up.

Stand: Brave New World
Ability: Can form a predator sea animal into any large enough body of water outside of someone’s body. This ability works on bodies of water in the stands range. The animal that can appear is only relative to the size of the body of water. For example, a water bottle can host a small piranha, but a lake could host a killer whale. The animals produced by the stand in design are of course Akraki’d up. The fish can hop a short distance to any large enough water source and hide inside of it.
The fish itself isn’t directly controlled by Ariel, as it has a mind of its own, but it’s main priority is to attack anyone Ariel considers an enemy. Defeating the animal can damage the animal depending on the size of the animal- large ones cost Ariel more of her thirst and damage her more when they are defeated. Any time this ability is used, Ariel gets more and more thirsty. The stand has a trident with which it can attack at close range, but it isn’t very quick.

If Part 6 needs a fight she could work- but if that part is getting too crowded (which i can't really see since there's very little work done on it) she can fit in there with that Disney gang that was being brought up a few threads ago.

Bad Cop/Good Cop

Appearance: I was thinking something along the lines of this version of Starboy, but with lines around it that look like waves.
Ability: Transforms objects, including the user or another person, into「waves」. These 「waves」are similar to sound or radio waves, but slightly visible depending on the density of the object. For example, the user could turn a tree into 「waves」 and direct them at someone, then when the 「waves」 have passed half way through the person, turn it back into a tree. Boom, Kakyoin on a stick. The user must be in direct contact with something to change it, and must be able to see where they are directing the waves to.
Role: Either a Part 5 enemy/ally or a Part 7 character. I was thinking she'd be cool as a character that occasionally helped the heroes but wasn't necessarily on their side.

I thought Vicky would be a somewhat early adversary and most guard fights would be peppered in between their progression through the prison, Dredd being last and possibly starting a chaotic riot that Superjail usually devolves into before the climax.

Also is the prison a tightly locked place with everyone in a cell or is it overtly large and convoluted, prisoners not being totally confound to cells? I felt the jail being sorta centered around free roaming would allow the trek through it to be a lot smoother. Guards would simply maintain vital areas and not allow prisoners to have complete reign to go wherever, confining them to certain areas.

I felt she'd be more of a First Boss type of enemy who poses the first big threat to the main cast with her exceptionally tedious stand. Not that I'd like to view enemy progression as a linear ascent in power level as the story continues. That would be too formulaic. Every enemy poses a unique threat and requires the same amount of thinking and resourcefulness to be overcome in Jojo.

The book could make appear in Part 5 as one of Plucky's belongings, kinda like as a memoir that Plucky keeps of his former mentor before he became deranged and evil.

In Part 6, I've seen that Queen Tyr'ahnee might make a cameo, so she could be seen reading the book in her cell thus making a connection between her an Daffy.
