Hearing that gave me a crazy idea, semi-related to the slightly more crazy idea of "Aura Babies" that's been floated a few times.

So, as we all know, Auras interact with each other, as seen with Pyrrha unlocking Jaune's Aura. This eventually gave rise to the whacky idea of "Aura Babies". But to take that at a lesser stage, what if it were possible for Auras that interact with each other intimately to affect each other in a last way?

Basically what if Taiyang fucking Raven got some of her Aura mixed into his, which then later got passed down to Ruby when he fucked Summer?

Considering there's the introduction of Salem as "the villain behind the villain" it's now likely that Cinder gets taken out by Jaune.
Obviously you have Yang vs Merc and Blake vs Adam.
Weiss vs Emerald will probably develop soon, there's a lot of duality there with their upbringings and their supportive roles in their teams etc.

I like the show, and any problems I have with could probably just be chocked down to nitpicking, but still I think the fights would have been much more entertaining if realistic "moves" were used while still taking advantage of semblances, auras, and of course ridiculous weapons.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. There's no proper emotional connection for Ruby to care about any of the villains so far (not as much as other characters anyway), so at this point she's mostly only going along with her job as huntress and what her uncle is guiding her to do.

She needs a proper villain/rival/antagonist/foil/whatever that she actually cares about beyond "this guy is an enemy". I thought him being a wolf faunus would be fun for pottery reasons, but it could be anything really, I just want a real, clear antagonist for our main character.

See this is part of my complaints.
I know that they're friends and Weiss would be understandably reluctant to fight Yang, but the fact that this sense of "honorable" combat exists in the universe just shows how RT doesn't know what war actually us, or at least they're not giving a good presentation.
In combat, you're trying to kill or otherwise disable an opponent. It's a dirty affair that only causes hurt. There's NO such thing as honor when you're already doing something wrong.
