Was s2 the most anticipated seasons in /co/ history?

There is not much to discuss anymore.

Didn't forget, just watching season 2

R&M more than anything is proof of how low the bar is for adult animation.

Since shows like FG, Nu-Simpsons, Nu-South Park and a mixed assortment of incredibly cheap comedies dominate the market R&M appears great by comparison.

Dont aim for the stars kids. Just be a little bit better than the field.

It's very funny but also very hallow.
It has lots of funny stuff but nothing truly memorable or emotional.
If a comedy gets remembered it either hits an emotional spectrum or is just funny and memorable.

There's not even that much violence compared to other cartoons. Only a couple episodes are excessively violent. Again I don't think you guys actually watched it. Also there is no time travel at all so that's a dumb comparison.

Multi-verse travel and time travel are too very different things. Not a lot of cartoons that I know of have taken on multi-verse travel the way R&M does. And it's not just "see what happens", they almost always have specific reasons for going where they go, even from the first episode.

They are there but it's not Seinfeld memorable, Dayman memorable or Old Simpsons memorable.
It just doesn't hit a specific mark.
The only things I really remember in s2 are that episode with several Microverses and the first episode where there were several similar panels but different things happening in them. When the show does try to be dramatic it just kinda feels hamfisted and extremely cheesy.

s3 is going to be far more anticipated. s1 didn't really get a plot or anything going for us to be anticipating the next season, it was just a cool show that we wanted to see more of.

The whole reason they did the big dramatic feelsy cliffhanger was because people were PISSED about the season 1 finale being just a big dumb joke episode, right after the whole Evil Morty thing.

Halfway through the episode Rick gets fed up and offers Jerry the chance to actually become a horse and Jerry accepts rather then admit he was lying about it for his pride.
