what?
Any one got any tips for fleshing out characters.
I made a character who was originally going to be the audience insert ie "normal" but then decided I don't want any characters like that.
Should I ditch him or does anyone know any tips for how to ffix this?
We all know Disney loves adapting stuff.
In fact, good ol' Lion King was the first member of the canon that wasn't a direct adaptation.
So in this thread, give an idea for something you'd like to see Disney adapt, even loosely.
I personally would love to see Disney's take on A Midsummer Night's Dream.
I think Dr. Jekyll Mr. Hyde would have been perfect during Disney's renaissance era, with dark tones like in Hunchback.
>>81428333
Nice idea.
Recent Movies like Big Hero 6, Zootopia, and even Frozen have shown that Disney can get dark, so it might work today.
>>81428204
Myths from other cultures. Stuff most westerners might not know about.
ITT: Underrated performances in cape movies.
Pic related. Ledger stole his thunder, but he was pretty damn great.
Tfw you will never see Two Face say "get out of my face" and Joker responding "which one?" in live action.

it was meant to be the suit he was wearing when he got burnt
Godspeed, Coinface

why wasn't he the DCEU Luthor?
>there are enough retarded ass millennials which will say that the new Luthor is amazing and we only hate him because NOT MUH
This Luthor would have never contacted Apokolips, and if he did would have offered to team up with Supes to help defend the fucking world.
What if it'sAlex Luthor?
it's Snapper Carr
>>81426852
What if itsSuperboy Prime
>>81427685
This. Technically he's still out there in some way. Stuck in the source wall and that was tampered with during Godhead.
But then that hand would be a fist.
How do I get into the OG Marvel comics? The new issues have never really appealed to me besides very few standalone arcs but I've always admired the old issues in its story telling and art style as I'm a big Jack Kirby fan. I'm really into the deep sci-fi stuff but I think I'd enjoy stuff like The Defenders as well. Any recommendations for essential reading material or guides? Even tips on what to avoid or what is gold, etc.
>>81426444
Go read the Lee/Kirby Fantastic Four run in its entirety. It's among the best runs of any Marvel comic, and there's a very good reason why it was the basis by which the rest of the universe was built on.
>>81426486
Where do I go into acquiring this? Does the Lee/Kirby run have an end or conclusion?
>>81426444
>How do I get into the OG Marvel comics?
You read the comics from Kirby and Ditko. Then you can go on to other talented artists like John Buscema or John Romita
Are you fucking serious?
Golly, OP, thanks for the original post that accurately telegraphs what it is you want to discuss.

What is your favorite Storm Outfit?
Implying she needs one...
This one was great. Swap the black with Silver/White would be great too.

Is this the new hip version of Spidey like Marvel expects it to be?
is it the newultimate?
havent read anything from it yet, is this basically a book for people who want a more classic take on Spidey instead of Slott shenanigans?
>>81425331
it's a lot better than most of the Slott stuff and gives you a little more of the old slice of life pete.
>>81425581
Pretty much. It's for people who want teen spidey, and it's pseudo-non-canon.
You know, for a decade that's been so shat upon by comic book fans for the last 16 years, the nineties sure have been influential in the comic book movie industry.
Now that the dust has settles, what did you think about the nineties? And when are we getting that Youngblood movie?
The 90s were fine. The only real problems were X-Men and Liefeld related, the rest of the decade was fine.
Honestly the biggest problems of the 90's were the speculator market and the flood of #1's and variant/holographic/foil/ whatever crap they could come up with covers that just feed that market until it brought down the industry
>>81425110
90s were only bad for speculation bullshit, marvel's bloated x-events and how late all the image books were. The 90s also gave us a lot of good DC runs, Vertigo, the alt comics scene grew, valiant, hellboy, etc... Overall the 90s was more good than bad
would anyone want to talk about the greatest thing in the entire universe, our lord hot dip?
>>81424580
You mean Crack Stuntman?
DIPOW!
>>81424580
DIP-OW!
>>81426139
I gotta pay the bills! I just found out Cheap Commandles is non-union!
What went wrong, /co/?
Way too many characters. The main team is like nine heroes, plus the villains and the assistants like that government lady and Prock's dad.
>>81424471
Did I ever tell you guys I was gay?
>>81424635
Impresario should've been the gay one, but that would make his mommy issues less funny.
Not that they were funny to begin with
I'm confused...
