Thinking of that fight where Wonder Woman gouges her own eyes out so she can fight Medusa. So often the tension with female warriors isn’t the stakes of win vs. loss, it’s will their beauty be damaged, will their perfection as a potential mate be lessened by this fight.
>>88180784
Are you trying to say that blinding yourself isn't getting hurt? Or is the WW/Medusa fight an example of what you want?
>>88180888
Yes, Exactly. WW gives up her flesh in order to win the fight.
Remember the last panel from Elektra: Lives Again? Matt Murdock is a bloody mess, and Elektra looks perfect. And yet SHE is the one that dies.
ITT: Characters you wish they went somewhere with.
Call me crazy, but there's a distinct lack of Iranian female sexual tension in animation for my taste. Kinda wish they followed that up for more than just two episode references as far as I could tell.

more brown girls is always a good thing
>>88180177
Really a victim of the show going less political and changing direction part way through the first season or second season (whenever Stan of Arabia was). I mean I'd be down for it but there's not really all that much you can get out of it.
They should at least do an episode about it though.
I thought her crush on Francine was cute tbqh.
Since the thread we were having this discussion in was deleted...
Who would win?
Are we allowing the FUCKING CHEESE RAY or not?If we are, can we shoot everyone who thinks it's a good idea?
Cheese ray motherfucker! Jimmy can win with ease.
>>88180189
Just because it sounds ridiculous doesn't mean it's not viable.
>Evil villan shoots a blast of energy
>the hero holds up a mirror and it deflects back.
>>88180160
It's how we won WWII.
>>88180160
Its even more amazing when the energy blast destorys all other objects yet the reflective object isnt even a mirror, its just the bottom of a metallic relective food tray
regarding mirrors
even a highly efficient mirror will shatter upon being struck by a powerful laser, even 1% of the energy delivered by a laser with the power of a .45 ACP will be sufficient to shatter a standard mirror, especially since it is all concentrated on one spot
I don't know if this thread belongs here, but did anyone actually like the this wonder woman? It was kind of upsetting not to hear one thing about the amazon, but just about everyone I know thought she was the best.
>>88179348
How many people do you know?
>>88179348
I have thus far really enjoyed Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.
Is she the best actress in the world? No, does she have the correct physical presence of being feminine, elegant, yet incredibly dangerous? Yes, and I'm after that more than anything.
People with bad taste do (see >>88179436)
We had a good thread about this a few days ago, figured I'd share again in case anyone missed it. It's pretty damn good.

It's a good short.
That said, it will never get a sequel. Sorry anon.

I'd settle for a comic format.

That is why I'm saying that it made me hate women, ergo gay.

Could we get a Brad Neely thread?
We could, but /co/ by and large has no taste, so don't expect many Neely fans

I loved his early work. The barely animated, if you could even call it that, style had a lot of character to it. His comics are a lot of fun too and he's surprisingly good at music.
Never understood the love for Queeblo, which is a good short. Wizard People, Dear Readers is a well put together bit of comedy.
China Il has a special place in my heart. The first season feels like him trying to translate his work into a new medium, while the later two seasons really allow him to expand on things and just be a Brad Neely TV show with Babycakes and the Professor Bros. Still kind of sad that Chimmy-chummy and Lothario never showed up.
His new show is fucking terrible. I've laughed maybe once and it lacks the charm. I think we need time enough to enjoy the awkwardness of his characters, and that shit just feels like Adult Swim in a skin of Neely.
His stand up/talks are pretty fun.

What does /co/ think of this classic?
>>88177501
My 5th grade teacher really liked this show and played episodes in class from time to time
>it was an amazing cartoon that satisfied both children and adults!
>it was absolute garbage because it used pop culture jokes, and that dates it!
There, now enjoy 500 more of these two posts
I like it, but like Pinky and The Brain better.
And I like Freakazoid better than both.
Be honest: You hate him because he's popular and has been in the game so long dont you? Same with Slott
