Then why post you utter faggot?I am a bigger faggot for replying.
>>88538722
Yeah thats certainly.....a Wonder Woman set pic. Christ I wish I could be excited for this shit. WHY IS IT A FUCKING PERIOD PIECE OF WORLD WAR FUCKING ONE!? This isnt so much an origin movie, more of a explanation as to why she sat on her ass for a century
Looks good but I don't want to get my hopes up for another DCEU movie. Three times I was excited for their movies and three times I was left disappointed.
Gonna wait for a torrent this time.
Can we all agree that this show was a masterpiece?
>>88538653
Yes but the fanbase is shit
It's wierd how everyone remembers the random humor but not the cool robot fights or chase scemes
Jhonen was always a big fan of alien and robots and spaceship and it shows, it's kind of a shame he also decided to add a bit of noodle boy in it because noodle boy sucks
>>88538726
The action scenes were great too.
The balloon drop in the The Wettening is one the top moments on the show. Any episode that gets to show how badass and legitimately threatening Zim can be is a good one.
>>88538653
Yeah, but as>>88538726 mentioned the fanbase is annoying.
They think that Nick "hates" the show and that's the reason why it was cancelled, when it's really more complex than that. Jhonen said on the commentary that it was number of factors, one of them being that he and the other guys just got tired of doing the show. And another was that the show tended to go overbudget too often.
If you look at old forum posts, this is how your typical Zim fan was in the early mid 00s:
>"klaskey chewpo neds to stap making cartons!1!"
>"zim is the best show evur and he's my waifu and i hate nick stuff if there's no zim in it."
>"stupid Nick spootheads canceled ZIM, may doom rain down on ther earth monkey stupid-heds doomdommdoomdomdom XD"
>"jimy nutrin is a d3xter's lab0ratory ripoff!1!!"
>"don't toon in to nick on this day cuz roket powr is gona air!!!"

>“‘Civil War’ had a good opening twenty mins, but then I honestly can’t remember what the movie was about,” wrote Millar. “It’s interesting the Russos have a background in comedy because it’s really missing in these otherwise well-made pictures and very, very missed. I really hope this bleakness doesn’t extend into their two ‘Avengers’ pictures because what made that first ‘Avengers’ work was the light as well as shade and I’ll be sad if that’s all lost like it was in this picture.”
Is this hack right? Did Civil War need more comedy?
I'd imagine most comic writers hate comic movies in general. They make them for the casuals who never read a comic before, not for the fans.

I mean, that's already bizarre, but

>We will never have a moment this quiet in American animation ever again
Why did America give up? They had artistic animation by the balls but then decided that funny jokes and loud gags brought in more viewers and money. After that Japan tried at it, but then decided that otaku pandering brought in more viewers and money. Now the French and other euro countries are the only ones who give a crap about animation as an art form. What happened?
>>88538211

You started wearing a fedora and became a contrarian.
>>88538246
>You started wearing a fedora and became a contrarian.
Nah man, I just care about animation as an art form. I'm not against something just because it's popular. Fedora tipper maybe, but not contrarian.
>>88538246
OP is right though. The only interesting/weirder stuff left besides a few anime here and there and mediocre university projects is from Russo/Euro countries.
Prove me wrong (no really, I want recommendations.)
Should marvel reboot? Sales are dropping, tons of heroes with the same names and powers are running around and overall quality is awful. Will reboot save the marvel universe?
>>88536811
I don't think a reboot would help anything. If we're that worried about characters with multiple names running around we could just have a Crisis style story where they just kill a lot of heroes and they stay dead.
But Secret War was already their chance to do that. And no matter how you reboot the universe you're still going to have the same writers with questionable writing quality.
>>88536854
this.
a clean state in continuitynot that they even use it nowisn't going to fix the quality of writing and art at Marvel
they're already printing awful teen Spider-Man and X-Men books
>>88536811
It would be better done as a Rebirth style relaunch with a lot of retcons and getting new talent to write the books rather than Bendis' and Slott's monopolies.
Reed and Sue coming back from recreating the Multiverse to reform the FF would be the perfect starting point for a 'back to what was good' event.
Which shows from your childhood have you avoided just in-case they suck?

Fox Spider-man and X-men
I caught a couple minutes of X-men while it was on Netflix and taking off the rose colored glasses it looks poorly animated. I chalked it up as a bad scene and vowed never to watch the rest of the series again.
Warner Bros. Montreal has cancelled their long-rumored Suicide Squad video game, sources tell Kotaku. The studio will now focus mainly on their other big project, a Batman game starring Damian Wayne.
Executives at Warner Bros. decided to axe the Suicide Squad game earlier this month following a long period of turbulence at WB Montreal, according to three people familiar with the studio. The game, which would star DC Comics’ eponymous band of anti-heroes, had been in development for at least two years. Hints of its existence had been floating around for just as long. I’ve heard it was a co-op game—and that it failed to impress Warner Bros. management during greenlight meetings—but not much else.
Warner Bros. Montreal, founded in 2010, is best known for developing Arkham Origins, a prequel to the Arkham series that came out in 2013. The studio has not announced any new games since then, although the end of Origins teased a Suicide Squad get-together, which led to the first rumors that WB Montreal was working on a game about the gang of government-employed villains. (The companion handheld game, Arkham Origins Blackgate, also teased Suicide Squad in its ending.)
Many had assumed WB Montreal’s game would come out alongside the movie this past August, but that release came and went with no word from Warner Bros. Games outside of a mobile tie-in. Now it’s clear: Unless they revisit Suicide Squad at some point in the future, the game isn’t happening.http://kotaku.com/sources-wb-montreal-cancels-unannounced-suicide-squad-1790256635?utm_campaign=Socialflow_Kotaku_Twitter&utm_source=Kotaku_Twitter&utm_medium=Socialflow

One word: expensive.
Horror comics.
What are some good ones to read?
I got some old lists I can post and a download link for plenty greats.
Also I can't remember if Girls is on this image, but ignore that. That comic was shit but the rest is solid far as I've read or known.

This ought to set you for quite some time.
Most of the stories are stand alone things, though some follow movie continuity and some continue it like Freddy vs Jason vs Ash
Also personal recommend (since This the Season)
The Krampus comic on there.
Also there's some good horror from Marvel and DC
I know DC a lil better so look into Swamp Thing and Spectre (most recommended are Moore's Swamp thing run and Ostrander's Spectre)
Also look into the Animal Man/Swamp Thing stuff at the beginning of N52. That was also really good.
Marvel I don't know nearly as well, though I personally have enjoy most of their Marvel Zombies and I've heard good about their old age Tomb of Dracula stuff (also for a laugh look into the old anime movie based on Marvel Dracula)
Jazmine?
She is the best
Dear Santa...

I don't like that the 11 minute format. All the stuff that made Justice league watchable doesn't have room here, so it's basically just a few minutes of quipping and brainless action.
If it wasn't for the super cute WW design, I would've dropped it by now
>>88531197
This.
Shit is unwatchable in its current state. Fills like between show filler.
>>88531130
It's good. Wouldn't put it as my top 10 favorite DC shows but still enjoyable for the short episodic show it is.
Has a fair share of flaws but the good outweighs the bad.
Good:
action
light hearted entertainment
good characters
Bad:
cheap animation
bare bones plot
