Yeah I know, the ham wasn't very good. Honestly the only part of the breakfast that was mediocre, it was a last minute decision, it was still good and I wanted some actual meat for my meal but that's really all I had

And yeah, it's just avocado toast, some cilantro, little bit of freshly squeezed lemon juice, salt and pepper. The bread is also homemade and lightly toasted.

Since it seems like English breakfast posting is one the rise now, I might as well ask. I love beans but hate American baked beans because of how sickly sweet they are. What are the English beans I see in these images like?

Just using a bunch of shit that was headed south. Old pork chop that I pulled out of the freezer to clear up space, rolled in some homemade bread crumbs, again to clear space in the freezer, pan fried quickly for a nice crust, then rested on a bed of mushrooms that were getting old and put in the oven for a few minutes. Made a sauce with butter, touch of flour, some milk that again was at the end of its life, seasoned with garlic, sweet paprika, s/p, oregano, couple dashes if worcestshire and old beef stock. Not pictured is a couple slices of sourdough and a beer.

I love it when it's fresh tomatoes and not overly spiced. When it goes too far down the cumin north african path and farther from a herb garden kind of italian pepperss tasting thing I find it overpowers the eggs and then it just becomes kind of a bad ratio of sauce to eggs.

I really like the khachapuri borrowed from Georgia that is popular for breakfast/brunch in Israel. It's kind of a modern egg and soliders with luscious fresh cheese, and the bread inside the nice crust is as chewy as a bagel. Soooo satisfying.

Black Pudding; lots thereof

Eggs, fried, with a flowing yolk flecked with back pepper
A Kipper, poached and well drained
Bone marrow, halved, roasted and salted
Bubble and squeak, ideally from the last Sunday roast's leftovers
Mushroom, portobello, grilled and well charred
Cherry tomatoes, grilled and served on the vine
Bread, fried, buttered with the roasted marrow.

Preferably no: baked beans (unless homemade), hash browns (rösti's inferior cousin), anything from a tin, ham, back bacon, sausages that are more grain than gristle

Absolutely no fucking way: Waffles, potato waffles, tater tots, boiled eggs, and anything fashionable and "trendy" like avocados can fuck right off. So can anything explicitly intended for consumption by retarded children (cf. Spaghetti-o's.)

Tea or beer on the side. Nothing else fits.
