Yeah that's what I was thinking of. But it's important to check how durable the finish is. E.g. We installed a beautiful surface in my parent's house and it can't tolerate acidic (e.g. lemon juice) or very hot (e.g. a kettle that has just boiled) things and water leaves marks when it dries on it. These three are the main offenders so check on how it handles those first.
