It is such a slow board it'll basically never die properly anyway so no reason not to.

Plus I figure it being summer and people getting ready in the next few months might want to talk about stuff.

I was wondering what the big brother thing was? I vaguely remember it being something about preventing harassment at cons but I don't think I ever joined the group.

I would think this is something people do to be reasonable human beings. Do you really need a group to participate in it or just be sensible and interject in things where someone is clearly not having a good time/is being harassed.
