Her makeup is unoriginal and doesn't change from picture to picture for her. Without the wings and a different hair piece this would look better. But far from amazing like she beleives it is. It's just another attempt at a fandom cord that went a little too overboard then it should have. The skirt with the valor symbol would have been perfectly fine to get the point across. I have this ordered through the shop in red and have yet to have notification that they have been received yet. I'm really trying to find stuff to inspire me on what to do and so far have found people just putting on the dress and either not wearing a petticoat, blouse or wearing normie shoes with messy hair and no makeup. Just seeing you had the print on with the veil thing just annoyed me because it's not very inspirational and really makes the print of this series be lost under all the darkness when it should be the main focus.

No, it was just something I posted here and it's mostly that I'm really bothered by her like, impersonating Tina Fey for her bit. It's like a lolita based SNL weekend update kind of show, except that she just copied the concept completely.

My advice was, if she needs to copy some TV format, she should look into copying the old show Talk Soup which later on became the Soup with Joel McHale.
Ty's show is meant to be this catty review of weekly lolita things and that's exactly what the Soup was for reality TV and celebrities. It would make more sense for her to embrace the cheesy part of the concept instead of trying to play it off like she's a fucking actress reading a teleprompter and cue cards.

And most of all she's gotta drop the female newscaster voice. It's completely unnecessary and makes it hard to listen to. Speak like a normal human being. It's that kind of garbage that killed talk radio and news in general.

As far as older lolitas (men and women) go, she's going really well. I'm actually impressed with the matching of the red, though the front bow needs to be a more matte colour. The dress seems? custom made, which could account for the problem. There's nothing really wrong with this, everything is just a bit dated because of her age.

To be really honest, Pina Sweet Collection is and always was an indie brand sized for local Japanese market, ie- short, small girls. Think AP pre 2008, before the Western market encouraged them to size their dresses bigger. One look at their webshop shows you most of their dresses run pretty small. That's the real reason for their unpopularity, not because the dresses "look like a $10 Amazon dress". They DO turn up on secondhand sales every now and again (I don't know what they're tagged under if LM doesn't have a tag for it), but Western girls who are below 160cm and bust sized under 90cm aren't very common, let alone those who are that size and would go for a sweet indie brand over Mary Magdalene or VM instead.

So it was a really bad decision for a fatty-chan to try a dress from there, even if it's fully shirred. Great example for "just because you can squeeze into it doesn't mean it looks good", she managed to make a decent brand dress look terrible.
