What color hoodie do you guys recommend for Totty. It's so hard to get his color down because it varies between like a lavender and light pink.

i don't really like most Osomatsusan cosplays i've seen.
it's always the hoodie and people that just put on a standard black wig without any work on it.
the only ones who wear something different are the karamatsu cosplayers (who i've also been considering but i'm not sure anymore).

I'm planning F6 Ichimatsu for this year.
I was wondering if I should stick to basic/plain fabric to mimick the anime look or if I should incorporate sparkles and sequins to give it a more idol-ridiculous look.

What I also really dislike is when people don't style their wigs at all. E.g. no ahoge, Ichimatsu's hair isn't messy, Jyushimatsu having two instead of one ahoge etc. Or no makeup and/or binder when you're a grill.

you're right something like picture related would be more on par with the actual drawing but its hard to find something with spaced lines like it shows. Considering the shows art style is simplified i think its safe to say they were trying to go for a plaid without the effort of drawing it out.

It mostly looks terrible when it's too big or too uniform. A thicker base and a tapered tip would look more "natural" I think.

which buttons do you guys think look better for their uniform outfits? large & more accurate to the source material or smaller and more practical?

If you're a little chubby nbd, but it tends to accentuate feminine curves if you're a girl which isn't really suitable for the sextuplet's clothes. You're better off with a character who's costume is better suited for your body type.
It sucks to not be able to cosplay your favorite characters, but having the wrong body type and actually making the costume feels even worse. It's totally disappointing to look at the finished result and realize you'll never do your favorite justice.
