Is it easier to start trading stocks or cryptocurrency?
Which has a lower barrier to entry?
>>2059387
Stocks are less volatile which means you want a larger investment to make a difference.
That's why we're all poorfag neets doing crypto, see.
>>2059395
Just easy money fast. Not only poorfags are into crypto.
(Am poorfag myself though.)
>>2059395
But I mean which is easier to set up an account.
How does one go about selling stocks to normies?
Are there laws against stock broking without a liscense? If so, what are some ways you could get around that limitation?
>>2059336
Just preface everything you say with "someone who isn't me"
>Someone who isn't me wants to sell you a stock
etc
>>2059354
Is there any laws on how much I can charge commission?
dude just get your brokers license, you cant sell stock without hte license , you wont even have access to the stock to sell to someone
Is /pol/ right about investing?
>>2059219
Yes, the market is rigged.
pol is right about everything
>>2059219
>10% is good
I'm up 900% so far this year from cryptos. I've only invested in large coins so this could have been scaleable.

This thread goes out to all those people who want a career, a job, more people on their LinkedIn, or just want to bullshit about their new and old work life.
Feel free to post resources or infographs. All income levels welcome.
(I don't know if this thread will be welcome, but every other board is just NEETs complaining that they can't get a job shitposting all day.)
How many Anons have had luck with Monster?
The way I see it, it can be a bit of a double-edged sword. Being the biggest jobs search engine site on the Internet you would think that it'd be easy to land a job just by putting your resume on it and calling it a day, but is that really any better than clicking on an interesting search result and filling out the online application on a company's own site?
>pimp out Monster profile and upload resume
>expect some company's HR to filter through limitless resumes just to get to yours
>remain jobless
alternatively
>fill out job application on company's site since there is an open position
>upload resume and make yourself out to be the best candidate
>get personal email from company's HR saying a job position is available after applying for that same one
I'm wondering if playing the numbers games is of any consequence once you reach that point. Anybody ever have to do hiring for a company that can give some insight into this weird phenomenon?
>>2059112
Monster is a scam. I've filled out tons of applications but all it does is force me to apply for a job through some companies website and then once I fill out everything they ask for they don't even bother letting me know if I was rejected or not they just keep sending me emails like 'sorry you didn't get the job bucko but here's the posting for that same job so we can run I in your face
AT&T is the worst offender of this
>>2059060
What's the etiquette on calling the company? Obviously if you can call the right people and show some interest that improves your chances drastically, but there's no point in calling front desk or the bottom rung of a department.
Also when does it cross the line from "eager and takes initiative" to "ugh desperate much?"
Any of you work in a place that offers unlimited vacation? I'm starting a new job soon and will have unlimited paid time off. How do you approach that without taking advantage of the company or being looked down on?
Open to any tips.
>>2058851
Take 3 weeks.
Also note, the company will fuck you when you leave. If you've used no vacation time, you get paid nothing since they don't have to make up for unlimited vacation days. In a normal company, with 3 weeks vacation, if you're laid off without using any that year you'd be paid for 3 weeks upon leaving.
Keep that in mind when you plan to move on.
>>2058857
I've been in the workforce for 12 years and have never had a job where they paid out vacation, so I won't be expecting it, haha.
It ends up with workers taking less vacation time than if they had a finite amount of time off. I've worked for 3 large companies that had an unlimited vacation policy and it was the same story in each of them. Management creates unwritten rules and a culture of shame around taking vacation time.
It's all a scheme to attract talent to your business without delivering anything..

This is why I hate biz. This OP is giving real advice, not shilling some pajeet coin, but at this point everybody thinks everything is a scam so nobody can help any one anymore.
It's just a cluster fuck
buy my bags the post
How much is your personal definition of "fuck you money"?
I am single 27 american, so for me the bare minimum would be around 600,000 enough for a 4% withdraw rate and being able to live semi comfortably in rural areas, or be able to move to cheap europe/asia.
>>2058691
About 4 million USD at the moment. It's enough to be secure and move around the U.S.A. without much of a worry.
1-2 million boyo
£300K (or about $500K?)
I could buy three small apartments and rent them out for around £500 a month each. This would allow me to live comfortably in somewhere like Bangkok. I lived in Bangkok for a couple of years teaching English and really like the place.
I don't give a fuck about being wealthy, I just want to to quit working and be comfortable.
If you aren't utilizing the 48 Laws of Power, you will never amount to anything in your career. It fucking works. I graduated a year ago and got promoted at my job yesterday. I have boomers working under me now. It's human nature that bosses promote trustworthy, driven, loveable wagecucks.
>inb4 future bankrupt crypto shill replies how cucked I am for working
>inb4 said crypto shill kills himself when people realize crypto is not real and is monopoly money
(sorry for that, hate crypto shills)
>inb4 jelly of sick gainz
A lot of this is just plain social engineering. A good 1/4th of these rules are basically telling people to learn how to conceal your true emotions and nature and play the long game when it comes to building relationships in the workplace or business world. This should come easily to people if they don't have crippling autism.
Good rules to keep in mind, though.
>>2058641
The 48 laws are pretty great, but you're still a wage cuck op. Kys you gains hating coping machine.
>>2058641
>>2058742
You sound like you never had a job you enjoyed.
Nothing wrong with working bro.
I happen to enjoy my job and invest the money have left after bills.
48 Laws of Power is a great book which was one of the first of many more to come for me.
Some I would recommend:
- How to win friends and influence people
- Mastery
- 50th law
- Meditations (Marcus Aurelius)
- Art of learning (Josh Waitzkin)
>>2058721
Im not a complete autist and the book still improved my strategy in the workplace.
For example law 22, when you surrender to angry raging people is magical. They dont know how to react and calm down immediately.

> How is it free?
"People" invest your settled funds when you're not using them, just like banks.
> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.
> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.
> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, why?
Robinhood graphs are shit and only show you an average, not true real-time prices. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.
> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
Real brokers, like TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim. Otherwise you should be using tradingview.com, stockcharts.com, finviz.com, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

So bitcoin .. is it actually going to die?
I've put off buying it for months, and it refuses to stop going up despite the outdated tech. I assume its "too big to fail" at this point
thoughts?
>>2058119
everyone thought the same about myspace
myspace even thought they could get away with updating their website and would attract the people that left for facebook back
that never happened
bitcoin will eventually die for something better
will it be litecoin? I don't know..but some coin will eventually become the go to coin of all coins.
Only time will tell. I think by 2020 Bitcoin will be in our memories.

You should have seen it today, so many old farts trying to establish a pecking order against me. One of them came into my office trying to give me life advice and I just agreed and amplified with him, I have the old fart eating out of my hands running errands for me.
Where do these old shits think they have the right to lecture someone who is younger and more successful than them?
The advice wasn't even good, it was some shit about how I should get married because happy wife = happy life.
>>2057536
>some shit about how I should get married because happy wife = happy life
That really only applies if you get married in the first place.
Which I hear isn't as popular these days.
for a supposed successful person you're a bit bitter eh
