I'm a semi-NEET (doing school currently but no work) and bank with Chase, and have came into about $2500$. I also get a credit card allowance of $200 a month paid for by family to help me raise my credit score.
What's the "best" thing to do with that $2500?
I know, it's probably asked all the time but I was thinking:
1. Another bank may have a better saving's interest amount... but the highest you can find is around 1%, which is nothing from $2500.
2. I use Robin hood. Barely have anything in there, but since I started in October last year I've gained 9%
3. Everyone's circle-jerking about crypto-currency, but I have no idea how to get into it and even if I did make money, how the fuck do you cash it out? You get taxed up the ass anyway?
4. Small business. I paint, so I can create paintings and sell them.. though I'm not sure how to "get into" the market of people who pay a lot of money to lau- er, pay for nice art.

Once I disconnect from the internet, generate a wallet and print out the private key, then transfer 1 btc from coinbase into it,
How do I remove the btc from the wallet without ever posting the private key online?

With public key crypto in general, the public key is used to encrypt something that only your private key can decrypt. If you reverse the process and encrypt something with your private key, anyone with your public key can decrypt it. The point of that is too allow you to send a message, and if it can be decrypted with your public key, it means that it was encrypted with your private and, therefore, must be from you.

You can't spend from a paper wallet without sweeping the funds into a pc / smartphone / online wallet. That's why paper wallets are shit and you should get a hardware wallet because that's the only way the private key NEVER touches an internet connected device in any part of the chain.
