OK newbies who are still in the phase of chasing pumps. Let me give you the quick rundown.
I started buying crypto in March and trading in April. I could make and lose .5 BTC in a morning. I spent nights on /biz/, traded a little at work and always looked at candlesticks, which I'm pretty good at reading. It was a ton of fun, but when ETH started really running I realized I would've done slightly better if I had just held my ETH.
Since then, I've researched other coins and invested based on my penchant for high risk/high reward gambles but also played it a little safer. SINCE DOING THIS a little over a month ago my portfolio has tripled.
Short term big gambles:
>.7ish in DGB
>.5 in XBY
These have already paid off but these strong hands keep holding.
Mid - long term diverse, steady gambles.
>GNT - .3 BTC
>ANT - .3 BTC
>REP - .3 BTC
>XRP - .3 BTC
>XEM - .3 BTC
My goal is to have these mid-long term ones pop off over the next 6 months to a year. They float up and down and they aren't my big runners yet.
What people need to understand when they go full tilt and start chasing pumps is that the people making big money are the ones that put a few eggs in that basket months or a year ago.
Find promising coins. I've found mine. Use these and ride to greatness with me or find your own. Doing research, filtering out the hype, and getting some diversified longer term holds will save you from the cycle of checking /biz/ threads, checking candlesticks, checking /biz/ threads, checking candlesticks, over and over and over. You can sleep easy and keep making money. And when your picks start rising, join the shitposting.
People who have tried to pump and dump DGB keep coming into DGB threads crying while we joke around and laugh. Don't be like them. Please, take this advice. Make some money.

> .7 + .5 + .3 + .3 + .3 + .3 + .3 = 2.7 BTC
> Started in March
Nigga, you ain't as good at reading charts as you thought. I started 2 weeks ago and turned $300 into 7.2k (Dip got me for a grand)
Git gud.
>>2349973
riiiiight, thanks for not providing no proof like the rest of the bragging coiners
>>2349973
prove it faggot
I joined a group 2 days ago, made 0.2btc
And since then I can't sleep because I feel so guilty. I scammed 0.2btc out of some poor guy who probably just got into btc being very excited. I am no better than a credit card scammer.
What's even worse is those groups. Everyone is trying to take advantage of everyone else. People trying to unload bags on each other. Spaming "HOLD" while building up sell walls.
It's pathethic. And I was part of that.
great anon now buy moon and redeem urself
i mean, kys
>>2349876
We the Jews now.
The World runs on greed, anon. Take what you can and fuck everyone else.
I have lost half my investment into cryptocurrencies, namely Zencash that I got shilled into.
Was thinking about putting large sums into Eth, BAT and Litecoin and just forget about it for a few years
What 3-4 coins is good for long-term
Ark, eth, ltc, and btc, I'd also throw a few satoshi's at some dgb and steem just in case they explode you will have some big gainz
Don't listen to 99.9% of people on here. I went all in XRP 3 days ago just so I could stop trading daily.
>>2349859
DAMN I lost soooo much on this coin UB.
Looks like it will slip again to 2000 ...
What to do?
(((Someasshole))) on yobit was trolling about pump in chat.I and many others bought it. I bought only 123271 of it..... for 0.0012 btc hoping to double it (yes i'm poorfag and wanted some cash)
But actually on cryptopia.co.nz.... it worth only 29 doge. So that (((person))) made x25+ coin profit on that "dump" that not happened. and now there is 80 btc sellwall on 1 satoshi for that coin. So forget about it forever.
>>2349833
Some coins on YoBit have disabled wallets and no interaction with the main blockchain (hence they're like useless game points)
What was the price, in satoshi? Maybe your case is not hopeless yet.
>>2349925
its 0.00000001 btc there
but real price is 25 times less.
>>2349925
its hopeless for sure.
almost 80 btc sell wall at 0.00000001 btc
and only other exchange that buys it.... only can give x25 less price.
investing profit in the dip while it corrects. sell wall formed, take off imminent
>check the charts
>orderbook

>>2349818
Yobit is a shit. Pls stop
>>2349818
LiteDoge on Yobit is the WRONG LiteDoge, it's basically an isolated coin which has no interaction with the main LDOGE blockchain. Keep that in mind.
Yobit is a bad exchange.
Just bought 4mil for the correction. Pulling out at 20 sats
My friend is a no coiner but is heavily into the world of stocks/finance.
He says that bitcoin will in the long run never be very valuable since the only thing it has going for it was the fact that it was first and that it is extremely insecure and vulnerable to hackers. He says that other coins, especially ethereum will overtake it and btc will fade into obscurity.
Is he right, wrong or somewhere in between?
>>2349772
Sounds like he has no idea what hes talking about
>bitcoin is insecure
in what way?
>>2349780
this!
bitcoin is not going anywhere. And this is coming from an Eth Whale.
ETH and BTC are the pillars of crypto.
A Citibank win tomorrow would give DGB a ripple like explosion. It would take it to 25-50 cents within seconds. Better it has only THREE COMPETITORS. You really can't afford to fuck this up as there is a bigger risk in NOT getting in. Nothing between now and then can get you a lambo but this can.
>>2349727
what if it loses?
I already sent citibank the thread that someone hacked into their computer to find out that digibyte won.. so they know there is a leak.
I hope it fucks everything up for you guys.
>>2349747
>hacked into their computer
you believed that? gullible fucking faggot hahahahaha
>>2349747
Holy fuck if you are not joking then you are probably the biggest retard on /biz/ right now and thats actually saying something
Ordered one of these Nanos and it should be arriving next month so my coins aren't sitting on Coinbase.
When I get it I just need to write down the 24 word passcode right incase anything happened to the device? Or do I also need to write down public/private keys as well. Can I view those on the device?
Just need the passwords
You'll get fucked by a keylogger before then
>>2349703
There's a card in the box that has a line for you to write each of the 24 words the device shows when you initialize it. I would recommend writing these down on the card AND somewhere safe (like in your gmail with 2FA).
If you put your passcode incorrectly 3 times, it will wipe and reset the device. You will need those 24 words to restore the keys.
Also, if the device gets lost/stolen and you need access the coins immediately... you can create a temporary ETH wallet on MEW using those same words. (You can buy another Nano S and restore the keys with the 24 words too)
Basically, as long as you have those 24 words you can always access your wallet, with or without the Nano.
Are you using 1Broker.cc to get some passive income?
What are your favourite traders?
How much did you gain?
Do you trade yourself? Post your profile.
Cryptotrading soon.
You can trade forex, stocks and crypto with Bitcoin and you will gain based on Bitcoin, so even if Bitcoin doubles in price you will still get the percentage you have made with the trade. In short, you wont end up with less Bitcoin on a profitable trade. Next Month it will launch Cryptocurrency trading.
The best thing about it is that you can copy traders and let them use their expertise to make you money, while they get a 10% cut of the profit from your copied trade.
I put in 1 Bitcoin and simply analysed the trades of some active traders, like how they handle losses and if they try to get greedy when things go very well. After a Month I am now at 1.87 Bitcoin, 0.3 of these alone during the last week.
This seems like a good way to make some passive income on the side or to simply take a break from shitcoin "trading".
>>2349659
its great for a hands free approach. I keep my unused funds on there and it fuels my Bittrex investments quite nicely.
>>2349659
These are the traders I copy currently
come on, this isn't boring stocktrading, its investing into traders who make just as much with leverage as you do with crypto.
hot tip
Ardor will be huge..
>>2349650
wow its real...
think this is being pumped by multiple people/groups. don't ask me how i know
Holy fuck.
I had no idea how widespread shilling shitcoins really is, there are literally 50+ discord groups and IRC channels were faggots (read: 5-6 admins) literally scam a bunch of morons and let them hold bags while they sell early.
DO NOT trust any faggot on biz shilling SHITCOINS THE SHILLING IS MORE WIDESPREAD THAN YOU CAN EVER EVER IMAGINE THESE FAGGOTS EVEN POST ON REDDIT AND OTHER WEBSITES
>>2349629
Why can't we, /biz/ as a whole, become a shilling team on our own and troll normies and pajeets from our cozy threads? Man can dream, though...
>>2349654
This man. Why are we all fucking eachother over.
>>2349654
It's a dog eat dog world

I bought in at 183 like an idiot today, could have gotten in cheaper.
>>2349711

Don't miss it. You heared it here first.
So gift taxes only apply to the givers of the gifts...not the receivers.
So if I have a huge amount of cryptocurrency and I send it to my family member in a foreign country whose taxes are next to nothing, and after showing him how to set up a crypto wallet and cash out with an exchange he cashes out and wires or mails me the money as a gift, do I not have to pay any taxes on it?
Why wouldn't this work?
Is this a simple solution to avoiding taxes?
As it stands I have done this a few times through a family member with no problems. It looks no different at all to the many gifts we already send back and forth to each other.
Why would this not work?
Can anyone help here?
If I understand correctly, you can cash out this way without paying taxes. If you do it through, say, Coinbase, the IRS will fuck you up.
you're gonna git fucked by structuring charges, if you've made millions move to a tax haven and renounce citizenship
