>Conclusion
2017 will be considered the breakout year that catapulted blockchain technology and crypto-currencies into the mass user adoption. It is not to say that blockchain technology has reached critical mass by no stretch of the imagination.
The market is still in its infancy and more room to grow. As more and more crypto currencies emerge on the market. At present, according to Coinmarketcap there are 764 currencies. As more cryptos enter the market, it is only fair to say that Pareto’s Law of 80:20 will in fact hold true. Or more so, 90:10 whereby, 80–90% of the cryptos on the market today will be worthless in one year, and the 10–20% will have some merit and value.
The true potential for Bancor is its offering a Kickstarter type of platform, with a simple to use token creator and automated market maker mechanism.
As the demand for cryptos increase, I suspect that more people will flock to Bancor with the hopes of creating their own ICO/crowdfunding/mini-micro crowdfunding opportunity.
I see huge potential for this platform.
decided to make some normal thread without /pol garbage spam that i see currently ongoing.

Shame they scammed there ICO investors ey
Lets talk serious for once - do you think we are at the end of a bubble?
After BTC nearly reached 3000$ and ETH managed 400$, everything got hit by a heavy decline and has stagnated since then.
Some other signs:
>altcoins are usually very volatile, but most of them are in a slow and steady decline
>ETH's hype is completely gone; some say its because of all the shitty ICO's and for some its the fact that ETH still feels like a beta
>pic related
Bitcoin will either go to 5000 or 1000
>>2602278
its just beginning
hodl faggot
>>2602278
it's a good sign it's not crashing HARD after all this massive pump season.
a little calm was long over due
>buy factom on a dip
>it goes down
>buy shift on a dip
>it goes down
>buy lbry on a dip
>it goes down
>everything i hold is also going down
HELP
>tried the cyrpto meme a year ago
>big crash right after I went in, sold all my shit at a $1500 loss
>tried again a month ago
>bought low and decided to hold on no matter what
>at one point had $800 gains, now gradually going down
I can't do anything fucking right. Crypto's going to die right when I finally learn the value of iron hands.

you guys sound like you're expecting to buy a breakout when you buy the dip
spoilers: breakouts don't happen immediately after a dip, "buy the dip" is a LONG TERM STRATEGY, you're in for weeks/months for the profit if you do this.
if you want to daytrade, you're looking to buy before the breakout and that's another form of trading altogether.
All you do is pump useless fucking unpumpables and shit useless fucking coins

those dirty chinks why did we let them do this to us!!!!!!
So /biz/, I just stumbled upon this ICO and thought some of you might be interested.
I worked in genome industry before and I am confident that the ideas behind the project is really good.
You can read more on their whitepaper here:
http://www.encrypgen.com/ico/
The reason why I've decided to invest is:
- Compared to other ICO, the goal is only 1000 BTC. The team clearly shows no intentions to be greedy.
- 100 million supply. 80% to ICO investor, 10% for the team, 5% marketing, 5% bonus.
- No bullshit 50% or 25% bonus like other ICO. Current bonus is only 3% if you but 1 BTC or 5% if you buy 5 BTC
- All of the team are Ph.D and respectable in their own area
- Genome is a multi-billion industry, so I'm seeing huge potential.
I know it will not be popular over here who favor trash like bancor or status ICO. But hopefully, some of you know the industry and its potential.
This is the biggest god damn scam holy shit
If you send money to this you literally deserve to lose it all. Saged.
>>2602029
Just read over the whitepaper. Thanks for sharing OP. I can't really find a use for the coin though, am I missing something?
And if the funding goal isn't met...they eat the funds? Don't see anything on their site about that
>there are people browsing this board RIGHT NOW who bought an uncapped ICO
You know, I wonder if start ups will just look to create their own tokens to offer to the general public in the future, rather than going through the tradition venture capitalist, investment banking route. ICOs maybe start to be a more regular occurrence.
>>2602000
We warned them OP, we fucking warned them.
Hey guys, what if we took everything that people hate about fiat money, and put that in a crypto? And then we put it all in the hands of some people with a shady history of scamming? And then we leave obvious backdoors in the coding?
Anyone who questions it, we'll we can just call em a moron who doesn't understand coding, and if they persist, we can hint that they might be.... a nazi
From June 14th up till today has been the biggest dip in ETH ever. It went from $390 to $290 in a matter of a few weeks. That is a 25% decrease.
Is ETH going to keep dropping and then plateau around $200? Should we sell?
Hypothetically, why would ETH ever come back up?
>>2601953
it won't you fucking idiot. cant you read charts
>>2601953
Nigga I sold two weeks ago.
>>2601953
Proof of Stake being deployed might be big news.
Raiden being deployed might be big news.
These should give eth a price boost when they happen.

> “ BNT liquidators get ETH from the reserve of BNT, the liquidated BNT are destroyed, and the BNT price decreases respectively.” - Whitepaper
you dumb niggers you kill value when you sell, BNT destroy itself, if everyone just hold token price goes up.
if the .01 wall starts getting eaten this will tumble fast. i have no idea why they implemented the wall BEFORE releasing any content that could push the price UP. soon that 80k eth reserve will be gone and bancor will fold entirely
What a garbage coin
B-but (((they))) promosed me it would moon..!
yes i must say i am very displeased with it. not performing as i expected. perhaps the poorest decision i have ever made in my short time as a crypto investor
I'm beginning to consider buying in soon. Anyone else?
Ok, listen here. I've been doing this for a couple of days now without any success.
You don't have to be a genius to know if there is no buy wall and the value of a coin is at a couple of sats then it can be an instant 10x~100x.
Two days ago, the value was at 1 sat, now it is at 6 sat, that is already an insane 500% climb.
All we have to do is to pump it slow and steady for the coin to gain traction and it could even reach 100 sat within a day without the walls.
The earlier you get in, the more you can grab.
No, I am not shilling because I'm holding bags. I bought in for 2 sats but not planning on selling below a couple of hundred. It can climb back up becase it was already around 400 sat a couple of weeks ago. You know the greed can make it possible.
High value increase + low price + high volume = traction = steady increase, so get in here and pump while it's low and HODL until we are in lambo land!

>no buy wall
when the bitcoin crashes
all altcoins with no community will go to 1 satoshi
this is one of those coins.
your shill is, >price low can definitely go up
and nothing about community or tech
and ur reddit spacing is gay as fuck
>>2601753
you're literally gambling
You're saying this coin should be valued at 10x-100x the price when it has already dropped from hundreds of sats (apparently) to 1 sat....
There was probably a reason there was a mass sell-off
hmm o_O
Last chance to get into NMR.
no, no it isn't.
It's actually the last chance to get out.
>>2601572
remember to screencap all the no-numeraire cope for when NMR reaches BTC parity.
