I think it has a lot of potential but this is a longer term hold. I've got ~100USD worth that I plan on holding until at least the beta release in Q1 2018. I've been using the recent dips to get more coin tho

Zoom out on your charts. You might think you're buying a dip but it's really just a blip. Also don't immediately put all your money in a dip if you aren't sure it's at the bottom. Say you have $500 allocated for LTC. Buy maybe $50 at the dip, wait and see what happens, and if it dips significantly further buy like $75 to $100, and so on. This way your gains from the lower buys will help cancel out the losses of your higher buys if it doesn't go back up enough. If you put all $500 in on your first buy you lose way more. Patience is key. Impulsiveness is death.
