Hey /biz/, I've been mining Magacoin religiously for quite some time now. I'm here to distribute and share some of my mined coins with you and share my thoughts on why Magacoin will become one of the largest crypto networks.

While most of you are out there vehemently chasing shoddy pump and dump schemes, ponzi ICOs, overused buzz-words coupled with nice visuals, and the-next-great-thing for a quick buck or two; you fail to realize and acknowledge the true and inherent power of network effects.

I want you to critically think about the crap you are all buying into, and truly think about it. Do you even understand what you're really buying into: the technicals, economics, etc. Chances are no for the lot of you. What differentiates the digital numbers and database of Bitcoin and all other coins; at the root of it, it is the network effect and solely the network effect, the ecosystem.

Which leads me to Magacoin, and why it's so important. Magacoin is named after MAGA, quite possibly the largest counter-culture and counter-establishment movement for the past 40 years or so. It is a movement created and undertaken by the greater internet community. This falls directly in unison and parallel with the cryptocurrency revolution. Magacoin *will* spread like wildfire amongst the internet community, the right wing, the conservatives the moment the slightest spark is lit especially with the current political turmoil that lingers in the west.

Magacoin will be completely mined by 2020 with a maximum supply of 62,984,825. It is currently not listed on any exchanges, I highly advise that you begin mining and collecting this. Magacoin will become one of the top cryptos, I am confident.

there's a lot of misinformation going around about segwit and segwit2x.

first, segwit2x isn't happening because the big blockers have already moved to bitcoin cash and another hard fork would kill the network. both r/btc and r/bitcoin agree on this fact.

second, segwit enables lightning networks, but those won't be available right away. so short term segwit doesn't actually speed up the chain much (it's estimated to be a 2x speed increase by itself). that speedup will evaporate in the next few months so it's not a scaling solution by itself.

as for lightning networks, they'll work like this in the future: first you buy some bitcoin off an exchange (most likely in the form of a smart contracts, which are in the bitcoin roadmap, so no government can pull KYC stuff) using some shitcoin like usd. the exchange is already part of a lightning network so you can get your funds and spend them immediately to buy stuff off amazon. however, it takes 2-3 weeks to move the coins into "cold storage" (which is roughly the same speed as physical gold so that's not too bad).

basically, all transactions any normie does happens instantly in an off chain smart contract that can't be fucked with by either party, then is settled on chain much later.

disclaimer: i'm long on eth/btc for about a quarter million dollars. i don't even like bitcoin and i'm literally shorting it right now but there's so much fucking fud that i felt i should set the record straight.

/biz/, I bought 100BTC for around $110USD around 7 years ago or so.

At the time it was so fucking hard to withdraw, having to dick around with western union / libertywire etc. etc. and to top it off I was underageb& at the time so couldn't even register for most of the services needed to withdraw it in the first place.

I discarded the wallet / key, and now half a million dollars of MY fucking money is floating around somewhere. I wish this was a 'and then the whole bus started clapping' story, but it's not. It's like the one thing in life that I will always feel a twang of pain in my heart when I think about. Fuck me /biz/, fuck me.
