Fasting has great benefits if done right. Most people see success in the half fast. So you don't eat anything before noon, just coffee or water. Then you consume lunch and dinner and don't eat before bed.

What you do eat should have lots of fibre and protein. They both take a long time to break down and they fill you.

Seriously cut most sugar out of your diet. You will notice a difference in like a week if you stop consuming sugar.

And work out. Find a beginner work out routine and do it.

Being hungry isn't the hard part, at all. Currently 280lbs, down 13lbs from 293. The hardest part about being fat and losing weight is not succumbing to your brain yelling at you to eat when you're not even hungry (such as over-eating, or eating right after a meal.)
I still struggle with pizza, I always eat the entire thing. I try and not eat it too often, maybe a couple times a month. Other than that I just eat a lot less than I did before. It does get easier to deal with the "hunger".
Oh, and I've lost that 13lbs while sitting at my PC all day. Let's be real, you only need to go to the gym if you want to develop muscle while losing weight. I'm just lazy and poor (gym memberships are fuckin expensive.)

There is so much information though I don't have the patience to give actual sources and real info, especially to most of the morons here on 4chan who have grown up and are so stuck in what they think is nutritional facts. Cut out all trash soda,candy, chips, fast food. make your own meals from shit you would buy at whole foods or any other grocery store. Figure out your macros(protiens, fats, carbs, fiber) and base your meals on that. Intermittent fasting is good, 8 hour window of food intake, 16 hours with no calories consumed, so basically only water or tea with no sugar. Find a workout that works for you, i like HIIT so i went with that.

This is a myth. Your body doesn't break down when you don't eat every 2 hours. In fact it really doesn't matter.

Intermittent fasting can help with hunger management. If I don't eat in the morning I'm usually not very hungry untill my first bite.

If you want to lose weight cardio is your thing, but building up muscle will increase your metabolism over the long run too.

The type of food doesn't matter for weight loss. You could eat pizzas all day and lose weight, as long as you consume less calories than what you expend. That being said, eating more veggies, less potatoes etc can really help cutting the calories of your meals. Eating soup as supper is probably even the most filling, lowest in calories, meal.

I used to go to work from 4-11pm and i would never want to eat before or during work because I would feel too full and I moved around a lot at my job but by the time I got home, I would want to eat badly, I'm really used to eating before bed and its the hardest meal of the day to skip

I want to do something low carb, maybe cut out sugars but this seems impossible because even fruits have sugar, and fast but I still don't know the best way to space it out to ignore my hunger

Any other tips would be appreciated, I'm tired of being chubby. I try to bike most days and I'm going to start lifting weights at my school's gym
