They may have harmonic shifts, from one tonal center to another, change in form or developing theme. Music is weird right now. Dance music is generally always the same, but some people like to delve into weird styles.

Pogo's niche is to sample almost exclusively from animated or culturally iconic television shows but he's very similar to artists like The Avalanches and Nujabes in regards to his use of samples. Electronic music is up to it's eyeballs in sampling, the only thing distinct about Pogo is where he get's his samples from.
