I tested 120 in 1997, not sure where that would be today. I was depressed in my late teens as diagnosed by a medical professional. My family and I were wrestling with the idea of medication but luckily for me with the help of thorough introspection I found the source of my depression was my inability to change the things that make the world a bad place. Personally I came to the realization that it isn't my place to change the world, I only need to change my world to be a good person and if we are good people the world will change. I'll admit I'm a little bit of a narcissist (not a professional diagnosis) so maybe it was easier for me to avoid long term depression.

A standard deviation of 10. 90 to 110 is average. It's allowing for error. The test isn't perfect. Since I have a disorder I was tested every couple years from elementary on. Kansas was pretty funny that way. Public school system. Towards the end I tested higher in the verbal, but if you consider that the test can be learned then that 150 at the end doesn't count. Small close family but not very social. Gathering around for dinner and TV would be our average time together and alone in my room on my computer would be my preferred choice at the time. My social life was with friends.

I cam to the conclusion to not use medication by myself but with the support of my family. Before I decided I let them know that I didn't want to feel that way but I also didn't like the idea of taking medication that wouldn't fix the problem, only change my state.
