But I am ;)
OP's good choice in music reminds me of pic related
this and The Bends were better imo. still a solid album though
does it now?
Nice one! My favourite Zappa album. Extremely fun to play drums to also. Challenging as fuck though
I've never actually seen that show. I know roundabout is a bit of a meme because of it but Fragile is still an amazing album because of tracks like America and South Side of the Sky
Train of thought is trash compared to pic related and Awake
Try playing drums to some of the tracks from Zappa's "Shut Up 'N Play Yer Guitar".
Vinnie Colaiuta (he plays on most of the tracks) plays some stuff from outer space. Hard to follow him just listening, let alone trying to play it!
This is a joke right?
Yeah Vinnie Colaiuta is a beast. What I like most about his playing on Joe's Garage is that there are a lot of very hard things but it sounds like it holds together in a way.
It's hard to describe in words.
But thx for the tip. I'm gonna check out Shut Up 'N Play Yer Guitar!
>I just actually have a taste in music
Most people do.
/mu/fag here btw
I cry everytime I hear this album ) ;
Blink 182 sucks. Their lyrics sound like a 12 year old wrote them. The most basic rhymes and simplest topics possible. There is nothing left to the imagination, everything is spelled out literally because their audience is too fucking stupid to read into anything.
Saw Vinnie in a jazz trio setting at a club in LA. Was at a table right in front of the stage. Vinnie's bass drum was about 10 feet from our table. It was AMAZING to see him up close and personal. Mesmerizing show.
Then I saw him with Sting. So sad to see Vinnie bored out of his mind. I imagine Sting pays well though.
That's just it, they're heralded as one of the greatest bands of all time and Freddie Faggotry is revered by plebs but no one knows why outside of a handful of songs because they're a god awful glam rock band that should be forgotten
10s for me
Not 10s IMO but still fantastic listens
Over the years I've fallen out of love with this album. Dude Ranch is the better blink 182 album to me now although Adam's Song still gets me from time to te
Everyone has a "taste" in music
Good taste is completely subjective
People saying "You have terrible taste" is saying "You don't like what I like and that's bad"
Unless it's Lil' wayne
there's an exception for that kind of people
Holy fuck what a way to start 2017....go leak your sister or ex gf today lol - snap leak .cf
Pic related good choice
any1 listen to JP?
>Good taste is completely subjective
Not really. I was classically trained. I know what good music is. And Anthony Kiedis is notably off-key. Other than that, they rock. The production is really clear on that album too.
If you wanna go to that point of view
>Steve vai sucks, all he does is shred
>Kirk hammet sucks, all he does is wha
>Slash sucks, he is a nigger
>Kurt cobain sucks, all he did was easy af
>Jhon Frusciante sucks, his riffs sounded like a person who was playing for 2 years
>Jimmy page sucks, he can't shred
>Beethoven is the best
>Not really. I was classically trained. I know what good music is
That is the most autistic thing I've ever heard
My deaf friend listens to death metal while he finger blasts underage groupies in sweaty mosh pits at 8pm in chuckeecheeses and he has a IQ of 149 and several dozen degrees calculus
No memorable melodies in a bunch of med tempo songs.
After the first listen to "Only Shallow" it get's stuck in the head. The same with "When You Sleep", "I Only Said" and "Come In Alone"
Every song has something memorable in it. OK computer is as forgettable as the last shit I was having.
MY FUCKING NIGGER
I've never once seen another person post E&A on here
I love both of these posts.
WU- TANG WU- TANG!
Only plebs compare art music to everyday listening, normal music. It's an objective fact that classical music is the best, the classical musics not just in the Western world either. But you simply shouldn't compare that with pop music genres.
E&A was what got me into rap as a genre in the first place
8. Really? By The Throat gets posted a lot in these threads
8.5 fucking dope album, bloom's still their best tho
love this album more than any of their stuff
6.5 I prefer Nostril. Igorrr is crazy good tho
10/10 one of the GOAT hip hop albums
9/10 good taste
Yeah, I guess what I said is really just being too eurocentric really, first world-centric. There's so many brilliant music genres out there too, even in the most remote locations as well.
Funny how tastes can change over time. I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE that album.
Tried to listen to it the other day, after not hearing it for years, and was shocked. "I used to like this??!?"
Her musical peak, in the album featuring the most creative direction from her personally. Also happens to have been during her breakdown. Slick, legendary, futuristic sex pop.
Currents - Tame Impala
Four Calendar? That's interesting. It's such an easy listen, and so aesthetically beautiful. I could see one getting tired of it as there's not that much depth but on the surface it shines brand new to this day for me
4/10 but pretty odd is a solid 6.5, way better
9.5 fuck ya. It's like a three hour movie but more vivid
9 dammit moonchild
7.5 but trash opinion on it being their best
9.5 hell ya nigga
6.5. Citadel is a 8.5 way better
9.5 I only don't like Songbird
Throw out "The Last Rose Of Summer" This album invented thrash
I always have one photo saved on every device for these threads specifically
Actually, this one was also pretty good too.
Pic related is my 10/10.
Their second best imo. pic related would be their best
Was anyone able to suck on this growing up????
