I think I need some advice /b/.

I have a homie that I have known for the majority of my life, we have been best fucking friends since kindergarten, we are both 27 now, have grown up side by side. Recently my homie went through a separation with his wife. Now, up to this point in life we could hang out under any circumstances, from getting blitzed drunk with eachother, endless poker nights, bon fires,road trips, you name it we've probably done it side by side.

About 3 months ago he separated with his wife and moved into the same small town as me with his uncle, all great and fine, I was excited to have my brother staying a block away. He also recently started a relationship with my neighbors "down-on-her-luck" daughter. Now, my neighbor is a 50 some odd year old woman, the lease is in her name, she took her daughter in to keep her from being homeless. The mother is also another drinking buddy of mine, we've never had issues with each other and are always willing to lend a hand to the other. Sparing unnecessary details, now every time I go to visit, my homie and the daughter treat me like shit when I show up, like I'm intruding on them, they give me the cold shoulder pretty hard, snappy and short tempered with me, all that shit. The mother enjoys my company, but I don't want to cause any drama or bullshit for her just by trying to drink a beer with her. I also feel like I lost my life long friend, never in our lives has he treated me as if I’m not welcome around him until now… It’s not even like I bother them all the time, I’m gone for 4 days straight during the week. Any thoughts on why my bro is being so shitty? Or what do?
