And all I want is to make a kind of a jacket, so I could have quick access to the pouches and still be pretty well-covered.

Crye makes one, but it's $150. I guess you could get a Voodoo Tactical one, but that may be the poncho you were talking about.

I can't pretend to be a soldier. I'm good at airsoft. I don't kid myself into thinking just because iv played my 16th season of airsoft that I know any more than some call of duty weeb.
Iv got mix mash gear that is just some modern looking items tied to no particular military.

Like I said, I take pride in being superior at the hobby I play. Not trying to convince people how bad ass I think I am. Cuz truth is I don't know shit I'm just good at playing airsoft.

Nothing's stopping you, just have to lay out the fabric and get to work. Viper hoods/Kapkans are pretty damn simple garments, get some burlap, heavy duty thread, netting, and go to town.

Well there's the Tactical Concealment Cobra, which is about the same price as the Crye one. The Voodoo Tactical one is also just a ghillie foundation.
I guess you could try and find a fake Cobra too.

To the guy in the last thread asking about my M1A1 and MP40, I'll give you a quickish overview of each.

The AGM MP40, what I have, is really a gun to buy if you like the MP40, not for spectacular performance or ease of maintenance. One of the reasons I say this is because the hop up and inner barrel it comes with are fused together with glue and such and comes proprietary, while giving that fairly subpar AGM Chinese performance. AK hops can be modded in but it takes a little bit of fucking around. I've actually had two in my time and my first one lasted about two years or so, and the FPS dropped over those two years as I can assume the airseal started to go, so that's something to keep an eye on. On the bright side, I finally actually gamed my MP40 recently and it worked pretty damn good, it's range was a little shorter than your typical stuff but it still got the job done. I personally find them really handy with the folding stock and pretty light overall build. Personally the MP40 is my favourite submachine gun of all time so I'm willing to put up with any issues they have, but as far as a good baseline AEG goes, they're a bit of a pain in the ass and overall pretty subpar.

I currently have a Cyma Thompson, and I have to say overall it's a far, far better gun than the MP40 out of the box and in general as a baseline AEG. I've always been incredibly impressed with out of the box range and shot consistency on Thompsons, they never seem to disappoint and you'll see a lot of people mentioning this all over. Additionally as far as I've heard the gearbox components and whatnot are all V6 compatible so it's a lot easier to work on in general. The one thing to consider is actually like the real thing, they are fairly heavy, not a problem for me but some people don't like it. Mags are also a little more difficult to change.

Overall I'd suggest the Thompson over the MP40 by far, but if you like the MP40 more, it's not a gun you can't work with.

That was me, and thanks a lot. It did seem like the MP40 reviews were in agreement that it is cool but a pain to deal with. I am waffling between the CYMA M1A1, and the JG scorpion right now. Only other things on my radar are the CYMA RPK, and the CYMA SVD, but I don't feel that strongly about owning either at this point
