which one is that?
This is the wrong board ya dingdong
>>2411288
No it isn't. Mah Jongg, Chess, Poker, etc are all /asp/ subjects. /tg/ is for things which are not played for money or in competition.
>>2411375
/tg/ is not for this game.
>>2411378
Actually it is, there are Mahjong threads there every now and then. But you should go for MCR or Riichi depending on what's big where you live. Riichi is more defensive, but has less combinations, meaning rounds often look more similar. In MCR you can see many different hands, even though Mixed Shifted Chows by far is the most common one.
Now delete this thread and go to /tg/

Riichi Mahjong. If you can't find 3 other people to play with IRL or online or aren't comfortable enough yet you can emulate a ton of old arcade mahjong games that are 1v1 to get the basics of hands down, and some newer ones also have proper 4 player et al.
Tabletop Simulator is kinda middling because of their atrocious choice of tileset that's really not good for beginners and a lot of modules that don't remove certain tiles and do little to help you (or teach you) build the walls etc.
What size of tiles should I look for in a mah jongg set?
Riichi
