Not gonna work out.

If you mean just want to normally play the sport on a field, when you mean " tournament ", don't buy a gun. I don't know why all of you newbies immediately want to buy a gun before you even know whether or not you even like the sport or not.

Go to the closest field, and use the rental gear, that way you can play and not spend hundreds of dollars.

Usually, you'll be charged $40 to use all of it for the day, unless you want to have your own gear, and spend the $150 to get a G&G Combat Machine or Cyma AK but that will rack up into $200 with all the extra shot you'll need to play like ammo, batteries, charger, mags, eye protection, mouth protection and maybe even ear protection if your field cares about that. That doesn't even count accessories you'll end up wanting like a vest, optics, gloves ect ect.

If you don't want to keep using rental gear ( which will likely end up being the stuff you'll buy as a beginner anyways ) than just read the pastebin in the OP. We have it for a reason.

Take it from the master of airsoft on a budget. First things first, ask yourself how willing you are to learn about airsoft. You have to options; the Marui 870, and the ACM/Tercel M500.
The Marui is better made and has more parts available, but it's more expensive. Meanwhile the ACM can be found for stupid cheap, but they're pieces of shit with zero aftermarket since they're based off of the ancient Marushin M500.

And either way, you'll probably get your ass blasted in CQB since you'll probably have guys with HPA guns and hair trigger Hi-Capas running around.

Second, the one I had needed to be cut in half, despite the screw, it's one solid part. So I split it in half, and added a little electrical tape in front of it so it wouldn't slide. Even fully tighened down isn't enough to keep it in one place. It does swivel from side to side, which is helpful.

From the looks of the magazine, it's a TM clone. Being G&G it's probably alright internally, but you'll be upgrading it anyway so that's not so important.

Their newest gen Glock 23Cs are real good. Better than the TMs in some regards. Just don't full auto them too much, their firing pin is kinda weak, but then again it's a super cheap replacement.

I like it more than the TM version because it has the L115 body, which has a folding stock, adjustable cheekpad and a monopod. It also has the flash hider and fluted barrel like the real one.

The only issues I have, is that magazine design isn't designed after the real one, and it doesn't have trades, unlike the ASG AW .338, but that one doesn't have the fluted barrel and flash hider.

was at the field expecting to meet a coworker and his friend for some airsoft, but they were a no show, so i said fuck it, im already here, and ill enjoy all this rain and fog.
and this grandpa and kid roll up in there sedan for games, now normally little kids are annoying but this kid seemed alright, but what made me go wtf, was his gun. Looked like a high quality mp7, so i was like, dang looks like granps shelled out some dough for this lil munchkin, but when he went to chrono......
the gun didn't even register. it was shooting so low, the machine didnt even pick it up.
I already know this kid is gonna have a bad time, but this kid, hes got balls, and hes small. within the first 3 games, ive seen him sneak up on people and fire on there backs, myself included, he is silent AF. I realize we have a potential prodigy here, cause this kid knows how to be silent, move silent, and flank for effective fire. AND HE CALLS HIS HITS!
so i lend him my cyma ak and he just loves it, thing barely reaches 320 on the chrono, but the kid can at least hit a little further. chat the grandpa up a bit, pretty cool bro, talk about real steel, economy, good places to smoke a joint, its great
but this kid, once he had the ak in his hands, he was going all out. he was always at the very front, getting into cover hard, fast, moving between shooting positions like mad.
and you know what he said to me at the end of the day?
This has been the best day of airsofting ever, thanks man, it was great!
