Outside of airsoft, just casual. I've worn TAD stuff before because it's not too powerlevel and not explicitly camo but that's about it. I tried wearing my flecktarn jacket out once but I just felt like stolen valor even though I'm American.

I'm teaching my grandmother defensive pistol shooting and I figured putting airshit pellets through paper would be a good way for her to practice marksmanship without spending a bunch on ammo. What sort of airshit reproduction pistols are made with controls and weight similar to their real-steel counterparts? I picked up a $20 M&P 40 reproduction from Gander Mountain, but you have to pull the slide back for each shot and its super light on account of being plastic.

Just have her shoot the real deal. Airsoft guns don't have nearly as much recoil which makes shooting real steel vastly different.

To answer your question, the only one I can think of off the top of my head is a Tokyo Marui M&P9 with an aftermarket slide because the one it comes with is plastic. Not exactly cheap just for a practice gun.

KWA isn't necessarily bad, they just don't have as many spare parts available as other manufacturers such as WE.

The only KWA I own is the kz.61 and performs quite well (although my friends experience with their guns performance has been contradictory). However during a game one time I fell with it onto a concrete floor and the lower receiver broke in half at the mag well (I'd show it but I am not near it right now). It'd would probably have survived the fall if it was made out of a decent metal and not "reinforced polymer." But with that being said it would still shoot if I held it together. But like I said earlier, their aren't that many KWA parts available and I know a frame isn't exactly a 'commonly needed' part but I had to get a new scorpion just so I could have one that I could use.

I started her on my .22lr GSG 1911, then my 7.65mm Browning FÉG AP-MBP, then my 9mm Luger Taurus PT92--that's all we had time for that day. Airsoft pellets are cheaper than .22lr and can be shot into a pellet trap in the house during inclement weather, and a non-live gun is best for beginners learning safe handling practices (I've been planning on getting some for myself for holster, dry-fire, and retention practice, as well as indoor shooting once I move back innacity).

Gear would revolve around loose/baggy clothing with elastic/pullstrings along it to allow for tight or looser fitting. Like a Gorka but less baggy and with more options such as breathable fabrics on the inner arm/armpit. Also A loadbearing PC/Vest integrated via molle straps with an Alice or Smersh style belt rig to allow for front oriented pouches as well as ones around the belt to allow for more prone oriented positions.
