I know it's a right handed thigh holster, but I'm a lefty in most everything except shooting which I'm ambidextrous. So whenever I slide, my right thigh takes the brunt of the impact, and that would destroy the holster, the gun, and my leg. I ended up having to switch it to the left thigh because of that.

Leaving the spring compressed for an extended amount of time will end up making your gun shoot faster the next time you take it to chrono.
