This year's SMUG Squad Milsim trip will be at Milsim West's The Caspian Gap on OCTOBER 21-23 IN PERRY, GA AT THE GUARDIAN CENTER. Then entire facility is in play, not just the 75 odd acres that American Milsim got access to during Ironhorse, but the ENTIRE 850 ACRES OF FIRST RESPONDER FACILITY. This includes an abandoned highway littered with cars, plenty of innawoods, and the best part of all, a huge 75 acre mout facility complete with a full-scale subway training facility. Faction will be Cossacks. required attire is at least a track jacket (track pants recommended) over a telnyshka. OD or Russian cammo bottoms are also acceptable if preferred. One carpool is coming out of Conneticut going south. The second is coming out of Milwaukee-Chicago area and will be picking up anyone flying into the Atlanta airport. These carpools will be leaving in time to get to Perry by 1200 on that Friday. The third carpool will be out of the Boston area and arrive a day earlier to stay at the hotel which will be our meetup point. Once we have everything we need, including any needed trips to local stores for food and other supplies, we'll head over to the AO,

I've never played there, but SC Village is supposed to be the cancer capital of socal fields, but after the incident with the MIA guys, I think they've been cracking down on stuff like that. I play at Hollywood Sports and can tell you that speedsoft is alive and well there. 99.9% of /asg/ couldn't handle playing at either field though, so play at your own risk. I hear Code Red is slower paced than either SC or HSP

It can get scary. I once had a guy at my field with a flashlight, two sets of angled sights for both sides, a eotech and magnifier, a grenade launcher and some kind of attachment that holds another mag on the gun inside the stock, while simotainously having another mag duct taped to the magazine, this giant suppressor and some kind of sign spray painted all over the entire thing.

Honestly I don't know how someone can seriously put that much shit on a gun and not see how that's too much.

I spitballed him a budget of about 200-300$ and he told me that G&G M4 was a great entry level and the more expensive KWA M4 was among the best. From the pastebin and some of what I read online KWA doesn't exactly sound like the bees knees as this guy was making it out to be. I'm sure ur was trying to sell me, but I want to know if there was truth to his statement. Are cymas crap and the pastebin outdated? And is kwa that good?

Cyma AK externals aren't of the materials you'd like, as there either all polymer or polymer and pot metal. I can promise you it'll hold, though.

The internals aren't godly, but they are on par with the combat machine but less accurate, but they will last you longer than the combat machine.


KWA M4s are shit and he's probably paid by them to shill their shit.

Get a Krytac or G&P if you want a godly M4 for your budget, and get E&L if you want a godly AK.

The externals of them are on par with the real steel version.

Aftermarket is basically godly and you can find a shitload of replacementa for anything, plus most M4s can have real life externals put on it like the stocks.

I don't think there is much else that is as supported as the M4 and AK platform because mostly everything else is just that, slow flake uniqueness over adaptability.

I guess you could get a G36 but beyond that i wouldn't know.


KWA is shit because it's a M4 that is basically overpriced for what you get and for no reason has a proprietary parts, and isn't very compatible with most magazines due to the tighter magwell they make.

I haven't heard of one exploding, but I recall hearing their Luger was known for slamfiring, and many airsoft Berettas seem to be kind of flimsy (the trigger spring on my 84FS snapped, and I never managed to get that shit back together).

On the other hand, my AR is fine, and my M&P pistol I've abused on and off for a year or two and it still works fine, not the most fun gun, but it still holds up.
