The M80 formula is just less gritty. It doesn't cut your shoes up "as much". Its not really worth it though because if you just take an extra corner of your grip you might normally toss, and use it to rub down the grip of your board for a few minutes, you get the exact same result.

Maybe buy it once to see how it feels, that way you know what you want the regular grip to feel like when you're done sanding it down on your own.

Anyone here still skate big, bulky skate shoes? I've seen a few on sale from time to time, but I've never picked any up. When I was younger I had some of the fat Reynolds with the air pocket in the heel that you could actually see. Now that I think about it, visible air pockets in skate shoes really excited me in middle school. I never owned D3s or CM901s, but I remember these two models being like my holy grail of skate shoes.

Boardslide can be done both ways. Frontside is harder than backside, same with feebles. It's more common because it's easier. I have no idea why you included this in you argument but okay. FS overcrooks is a tweak, it still isn't it's own trick. Most people start off with a straight nosegrind but then later prefer the tweak to lock it in.

Skateparks are great, tricks I were having a hard time with just suddenly became easier than trying to do them out in the road, and everyone was super healpful and supportive. I was 100% ready to get shit on, but everyone there was great.

Anyone else get pain/stiffness in hip flexors or just hip problems in general? I didn't have problems before i started doing heelflips, seems like the front foot movement doesn't treat my hip well and my left hip has been causig problems for a month now. Anything else than stretching, icing and rest that i can do? I'm 90% sure that it's a muscle problem, not the joint. The pain is not unbearable, but i can't lift my left knee very high without pain.

Guys, I need some help with my heelflips please.
My board always turns a bit frontside, only about 20°. It's just enough that while I can get my backfoot on, my front foot misses the board on landing.
I can't figure out where this rotation is being caused, and how I can address it. Did anyone else face this hurdle?

Your wheels are what absorb most of the shock from uneven ground. In the beginning it's all about finding your balance making sure your trucks are tight enough so you can ride, balance and carve as you're riding, but once you get a tad better you can loosen them up carve better.

Different brands of trucks have different geometry and turn differently. You could spend your whole time skating trying different ones.
