Some LEO offices who's budget doesn't extend to buying simunition. Most others use that, since it's as close to a bullet as you could get without actually being one.
Also, why does American airsoft seem so shit? Specifically california, those faggots on YouTube annoy the fuck out of me.
I know, I'd suggest solid colours that way you're not stuck with one pattern.
I have flecktarn equipment because I am working on a Bundeswehr Fallschirmjager impression.
I bought a box of 10 for £50 and none of them feed properly. Every 4 or 5 rounds feeds.
It was a problem with the size, they were slightly smaller than the magwell so wobbled a bit.
Try wrapping electrical tape or something just below where the receiver locks the mag on the magazine itself, it should fix it.
>Your first kit should be a chest rig and a backpack if necessary.
Woulda been that but I needed green stuff for a game tomorrow.
>It's horrendous. It's ugly, it hurts to look at.
Don't talk about yourself that way~
A friend of mine also bought a can. We cracked a bunch of them with pliers and out of all samples, only one or two didn't have bubbles in them.
Who /milsim/ here? It's been a cold, rainy day.
I /milsim/, but you already knew, faggot
Get the US Palm one, won't regret it.
Simply the best AK grip out there.
>implying that isn't a real bump helmet
>implying russians don't use them
>implying I'm not saving for a russian made real helmet
>Excusing forced meme
And listen here you giganigger. I'm telling you they don't use fast helmets. Not the one's you're portraying. Either ask for advice or quell your shit. Go shitpost on facebook.
No, they "don't look the part", they're the best grip you can get for your AK. Period.
Well he replied to someone who asked about milsim... and that wouldn't make much of a good kit if we're talking authenticity.
Also he posted about buying a Russian helmet, which implies he's looking to get more Russian stuff of which I can give him some advice.
stay mad, friendo.
This was before my AK and rig had come in.
I was using my 416 and OD JPC.
I know what to get, it's just sourcing stuff and getting the money to buy them.
And unless I go to a national op and they're so set on specific kit I'll wear my bump helmet more often than not since it's comfy, rails are how I attach my goggles/mask and I can use a camera easily.
At that particular OP, it was Green/civie vs. Tan. I needed a green head cover, and green based camouflage. My friends and I use SS-Leto Summer for our green uniforms. Seeing as this wasn't a MSW event where they're more stringent on gear, I was fully within the rules.
Sorry I don't have the extra $200 for a K6-3 or a Zsh1-2
Nice try shill, I only use Cybergun ultrasonics.
I like patrolbase, and firesupport isn't pad. Actionhobbies has a limited selection, but they're fast and cheap, and airsoftworld is likewise, but with better selection and a poorly coded website.
bbgins4less is less awful than it should be
taiwangun and gunfire.pl aren't UK, but they're good too.
Wolf armouries are overpriced, and zero one are...meh.
Whats up with all the sissysofters?
did /lgbt/ discover airsoft or something?
Well, your impression is shite, almost as terrible as the one you are criticizing.
Should I finish my Diamond Dog loadout and get a GR300, and if so, should I go long or short?
>Bring 3 guns to the field just in case
>Forget mags for AK
>M16 starts to make crunchy noises every once in a while, indicating that something is wrong with the gears
>VSR shoots all crazy due to a new hop up tensioner.
Such if life. Back to the grindstone.
Personally, I prefer midcaps: they're a good compromise between the 500 round battle-maracas that are highcaps and the ultra conservative locaps.
I love to reload in the middle of a battle, too.
I'm not done either yet. My PC is lacking a cummerbund for now, and I need a better helmet.
Not being done is no excuse.
is it considered okay if i try to emulate this man, with some changes on the vest
>put item in cart
>shipping adds up to be only somewhat more than the item price
>the cheapest shipping option is like 2-4 months
>the option above that is 2-4 weeks
>it's only like 10 or so dollars more
Y'know I'm sure this make perfect sense when calculating the actual shipping, but I can't help but think "What's the point?"
It's a Hong Kong outlet.
They're the only ones who have what I'm looking at in stock.
I could buy from an American outlet but I think the shipping would even out, also, it would come with a hideous red muzzlebrake.
I'll probably buy mags from Redwolf.uk later for better shipping and availability.
no, regular dboys hicaps. They claim to be 600 round and need winding all of twice to empty.
CYMA M14 mags also do ~300 on a full wind. Hicaps have their own set of issues, but needing to wind a lot isn't really a major one.
The first Manga adaptations of Panzer Cops (the series/universe the Jin-Roh stories comes from) were both live-action:
Stray Dog: Panzer Cops, and The Red Spectacles.
They're all low budget but they're still really rad.
FSB only falls under special forces because Spetsnaz is such a nebulous term.
OMON technically falls under the same umbrella as well. FSB and OMON are actually closer to SWAT/FBI but they do see deployment, especially during occupations.
Also I'm pretty sure it just breaks down into "MUH SPECIAL FORCES OPERATOR" shit in general. No one seems to want to play the grunt.
I know how Russian special forces are sub divided, but I was just bitchin' over why everyone wants to play as them, whereas they actually only see very limited use outside of the motherland.
There once was a time when every motherfucker wanted to play as VDV. I never thought I'd miss those days.
I feel you bro.
Back to dream kits:
Pic related. I'm sad there are no more good FALs.
Are the APS shit across the board? I kind of want to get a UAR and paint it white for a kit like that.
Helps when you post a picture.
What's the best summer/hot-weather set of BDU/combat pants?
I'm too much of a coward to wear shorts.
Is there any long magazines for the G&P 870? I think I'd find that pretty handy. Doesn't have to have a particularly high capacity.
That makes me retch, anon.
>I'm too much of a coward to wear shorts.
There's more moving parts so there's more shit to fail, and a portion of the compressed air is used to cycle the action so they won't be as efficient as something like a P* or a Wolverine.
Think of them more as GBBRs with HPA lines.
>tfw you turn a friends grindy, fucked up ICS into a silky smooth, snappy, delicious 30rps sexmachine
I love working on these stupid replicas. I don't understand why so few people know how to do this, it's incredibly satisfying.
I know that feel mate.
Been working on friends Cyma AK74M and G&P SAM-R this weeked. Horrible gearboxes to close, but eventually got the shimming pretty smooth on both.
Im asking for legitimate help here:
My brother left for deployment in the pacific and he gave me his Airsoft M4
I dont know what type or what the fuck it is, all i know is that its a Gas Blowback type.
If you can see the WE G39 behind it, that shit's fucking dead because i did not maintain it and everything is fucking broken and shit.
Now, seeing as there's no airsoft facilities in 100 miles from here im most likely never going to use it, but i dont want it to rot away like the gun before that, especially since its my brother's gun.
What do i need to do to this thing to keep it in working condition? I will most likely not be using it, as previously stated.
Internally on the guns, leave them be. With the mags, press the release valve (the big button on the top back of the mag), then when any gas inside has emptied, put some pure silicone oil into the inside, you shouldn't need a lot, jsut a few drops. Then top the mag up with gas. preferably a gas with some silicone in it. Like WE green gas. then leave it all alone. if he's away longer than 3 months, I reccommend emptying the mag and repeating.
Gently spray some silicone spray on the nozzle on the bolt, and gently spray some on the rubber gaskets on the magazines.
If you live in a particularly humid state, maybe give it a light spray of ballistol or other CLP and a basic wipe-down, but it shouldn't matter if you're not going to use it.
As much as everyone bitches about UCP, if you had a full loadout like pic related and it was put together well, I think it'd look cool.
I mean you'd have the camouflage properties of a lit road flare, but you'd look cool.
>literally any kit
>shit that isn't even physically possible in this realm
All my wut
There used to be some retired Army guys who played in full UCP kit, IOTV and all. They all also ran KJW M4s.
They were pretty chill guys and I need to dig up some old photos of them when there used to be a photographer regularly covering games.
>filling up HPA tanks is a huge pain in the ass
>I value recoil little enough that GBBs are sufficient for muh realism
>I'm too lazy to figure out customs and shipping from the US
>It limits the system to a single replica
>having a hose on your gun in general
The list goes on. They are real fuckin' neat-o and I would enjoy having one but I don't care enough to go out of my way to get one. If a decent deal comes by I guess I could get one, but I'd rather spend this month's $1500 airsoft budget on a bunch of different shit that I enjoy more than one thing I enjoy. Same reasons go for why I don't have any HPA setup in general, though I'm sure I'll get one eventually.
Make sure the silicone spray isn't an aerosol can though. Sometimes the propellants can have not-nice things in them for rubber.
I love this loadout. UCP is not that bad, it just needs a bit of use and dirt.
i don't dream too big
i would also aim for this spetsnaz loadout, but probably replace it with some digital flora camo
Alright, enough of this chairsofting wishful dreaming loadout. Time for the loadout you actually use. Post pics from this week's airsofting.
Works decently in the mountains of Afghanistan.
are iotv okay to be used for airsoft
i'm planning to get a replica chinky one but i'm kinda afraid that i wont be able to feel bb pelting me and get called out on it
i would vouch for UCP effectiveness in dense tropical jungle
it blends in very well with the woods and stalks apparently
but i would say calling it universal is a stretch
I meant that you pretty much need eye protection and everything else is mostly subjective.
Use an IOTV if you want but it's up to you if you call your hits. Weigh the pros and cons in your mind.
thank you for your insight anon
you really a true american hero
Today I played the much hated speedsoft because of the field layout.
Pretty fun. No polarstar streambbs.
That's as low as you're going to get when it comes to price. The only other rail for the 74U that I know of is the Zenitco B11 which is cloned by Asura Dynanics and a couple other companies that I can't remember.
Is there anyway to get a stock like this and put it on a carbine m4
I don't like my crane stock and I'm trying to make a dmr
I wonder how hard it would be to kitbash a nerf body with a airsoft one?
Actually, would this be alright?
>finally have enough money to buy a dmr
>check for an aeg that interest me
>find this beauty on the interwebz
>it's sold out everywhere and probably not in production anymore
anyone here can suggest something that is similar to this
I'd rather go G&G. If you really have the money to make a decent DMR then I'd also take the one with a body that handles abuse and constant disassembly. CHeap stuff tend to disintegrate fast if you have to open it up continuously.
Whatever you're going to get should be fine, if it ever starts shitting out on you replace it with a 7075 body and it will never break
i'm mostly just shilling for daytona guns, their SR25 kit's going to be built for the ares if he ever becomes interested in that in the future
Break in is the biggest annoying part of it, after you finish that, all that you really need to do is clean it & lube it every day that you play, which isn't a huge hassle, takes 5 minutes
Hey guys, check out my PSG-1, it's a really accurate, really expensive military rifle.
Like my PSG-1 and my mp5 with retractable stock?
u wot m8? its a sa80 obviosly
and this heres me dan wesson
Just got my first airsoft gun. All the reviews said echo 1 makes legit guns for beginers
>airshit store is selling MG-42
my body says yes but my wallet says no
also is it possible to flip the bipod like that so you can wield it Jin Roh style or would it just snap off?
yeah but it'll end up looking like an abomination.
Unless that's your style. I also had to lengthen the screw to make it work.
>tfw I just realized I'll never have a p* mg42 firing at 70rps
>also is it possible to flip the bipod like that so you can wield it Jin Roh style or would it just snap off?
As an MG user I can say it is possible but its not really comfortable. And if you detach the bipod the gun suddenly weights only half of what it used to.
Im actually thinking of doing that but considering it already isnt exactly easy to move around with it I cant imagine what it would be with an air tank on my back.
>Belgian jigsaw is a good pattern guys!!! It works really well in Belgian forests!!
>See Belgian camo test videos
>Its all guys lying down in thick bushes under trees that anyone could hide themselves in
I want to give it the benefit of the doubt and say it would work better later in the day, near the "golden hour".
At least they wised up and made a passable desert camo.
Clean them after every game like you would with a real gun after a range day, keep the magazines gassed up to prevent the gaskets from shrinking, and only use pure silicone oil because petroleum based ones dry out silicone and rubber based polymers. Things WILL break, and I recommend getting a feel for disassembling the gun for when things do fail so you don't have to pay a tech.
TMs are (more or less) seen as the standard for modern GBBs and they're generally what Taiwanese and Chinese companies copy. But since they are Japanese made, they will have plastic slides instead of metal ones. Either run more expensive HFC-134a (Duster gas), get a metal slide and use green gas, or reinforce the internals all together and use propane and spend less in the long run.
It won't change anything. Some people that use HPA DMRs might get an HPA BASR. Its still to expensive for every wannabe Chris Kyle.
HPA on BASR isn't have too much of an impact. The hopup and shit matters more than pistons
Wannabe snipers buy cheap Well rifles. Especially the L96. I don't think they could rationalize the investment for HPA cylinder since their chink rifles already shoot 2-3J at stock.
HPA can be made more silent which is very important for snipers. Muzzle energy variances are also minimal with HPA, which results in better vertical accuracy. I'm not sure about Bolt, but with most other HPA solutions, you can adjust the air volume just right for your barrel. The HPA bolt is also lot easier to pull which is a really big deal when you're crouching in a bush and trying remain concealed.
HPA gas snipers have been a thing for years now.
The wannabes will drop the dosh on the bolt system and put nothing into actual accuracy upgrades, can't comprehend why that can't hit people, and promptly sell the thing a loss and repeat the cycle.
Nah it's the best. Most effective? No. But it's the best.
Flecktarn is cool (I personally own a fleck parka for everyday wear) but I prefer its derivatives like M84, Fleck-D, and Jeitai since it's more green and less red where I live.
The snow variation of M/84 is really cool too.
Yeah it's a pain in the ass. At least Swedisn M90 is becoming easier to get stateside.
I remember some guy in the milsurp thread on /k/ talking about how he got an M84 jacket for like <$50 because the guy listed it as Swiss or some shit.
>tfw you'll never have the camo from your country of origin
>arctic and arid m90
I WAS NOT AWARE OF THIS
I NEED THEM ALL
Because this is better:
I'm so fucking tired of seeing shit like this "division themed loadout"
he's just wearing regular airsoft gear with jeans and a respiratory mask
bang! got you you stupid terrorist anon :D
why do you want to play as the bad guy anyway
btw rate my us marine themed loadout? ;-)
>Division themed loadout
Sounds like some shitty tag people add to get people to look at their lackluster gear. Unless of course you actually put some money into your gear to make it look 0P3R80R
He looks like some filthy level 5 scrub who got babbys first hat
Are ""Division"" loadouts the new ""STALKER"" loadouts?
I believe he mated a 47 front end onto one of those "Beta Spetsnaz" AK abominations.
>Yellow goggles in standard lighting
Tinted lenses like yellow are mostly used for skiers at night because it increases visibility and contrast for snow. Rose tinted are used during daytime to prevent glare from snow and increase contrast for snow. Why the fuck you'd want to gimp your vision in non-snowy terrain like this I do not know.
>8.99 for some blogpost tier """""""book"""""""
I salute the guy who bought and reviewed it
>Hey guys is this airsoft gun good? I want one with rails so I can customize it so I can put on the same eotech, fts magnifier, suppressor, afg, frontgrip, PEQ box, flip up sights as the rest of the airsoft players in a 100mile radius
>I consider myself a purist as those people who have too many attachments represent all and make their classy guns unsophisticated
So glad CADPAT is plentiful. Sad that my buddies always want to go on the tan team though.
I know the feeling. I only managed to get into one picture where I wasn't running or laying in a ditch barely in frame, and it's a wide group shot from fairly far away.
I'm the far left asshole with the MP5.
Soviets got fucked this year. Nothing like a static battle of attrition. So many human wave attacks I spent most of my time reloading.
I don't know why they never pushed the brush area. Could have broken our center.
Elite Force 1911, that is if you need a work horse. Its got a Hop up and you can get two-three reloads out of one mag of CO2. Its one of the few examples of cheap, durable airsoft weapons.
While it seemed like that from what I understand the Soviets actually completed 3/4 of their objectives so they may have won a tactical victory. We did have a pushing problem this year, it would have been nice to have some more organization to the whole thing to actually get people moving. Right off the bat in the initial engagement people were just sitting put instead of pushing up as much as they could. I remember I was in the forest during the final battle and we were waiting for our relief from the guys on the Armageddon flank but they never got in far enough and then broke. I've heard that the Soviets had pushed 'em back to their spawn but I was pretty useless so I wouldn't know.
>So many human wave attacks I spent most of my time reloading.
I was part of one suicide wave who's objective was just to get us pushed up at any cost, but when I got back into the game we'd lost the ground we took.
Fucking bullpups and their hollow magwell. I have been trying to fix my F200 shooting like shit. Bullets were flying left and rignt before dropping to the ground after 20 meters on almost doing 180 and shooting at my face. after a week of removing the barrel, rubber and all that jazz I accidentally saw that there was a fucking halway decomposed BB stuck between the piston and gearbox essentially ruining the airseal. I am amazed that nohing actually was broken.
Step the fuck up night parka nerd.
Reminds me of shitty anime/barbie hair and face mods for New Vegas
Actually is the other way around, slavfags criticize multiglammers for being mainstream.
I like my night camo, works well looks good
Why are you here?
My bad, those are AOR2, blends in pretty well around here
I dont know about that, we were told we had our objectives completed. I don't think there was good leadership from the officials about what the fuck was going on. In the final battle soviet forces did get into Armageddon, about two of them, they killed handfuls of us. But too little too late.
I kept on asking for orders, but all I got was to hold position to protect temple and Bedlam. After that point we stopped receiving orders, seemed like the event staff was more concerned about capturing drone footage.
I give the whole thing about a 7/10, 5 of that was the house to house fight mid-day before the official break. Still well worth the time and money.
Its a shame really, at Pandora's Box the previous years, leadership was on point.
>Implying we're all noguns and don't visit /k/
I cant own a real SVD or PKM with my job and I can't shoot people with my AK without going to jail. Go jack off to your milsurp rifle kiddo.
you really gonna get pissy because you're nogunz
