Hi /adv/,
my significant other is wanting to become trans. They want to change their name and become some gender other than male or female.
We've been dating for 3 years now and I don't know what to do. All our hobbies are the same, our friendsgroup is completely intertwined, and we live together.
My biggest concern is that I won't find them attractive anymore and will be embarrassed to be around them because I also disagree with the gender politics thing. I fear that every time I see them I will be repulsed. It doesn't help that We haven't fucked in months either and I'm becoming more and more sexually frustrated.
Has anyone been through anything similar? Should I just tell them flat out and disintegrate my relationship? I feel that that would backfire because some of my friends would decide that I'm transphobic or someshit.
