I'm not advocating for any of the social media you mentioned but I can say Reddit is hugely useful. You just are a salty piece of shit. Did you get banned from any sub?

4chan is useful but when you make a thread you always get 70% shit replies and 30% good ones. So yes that makes it useful too.

Facebook and Tumblr. Facebook used to be good but now it's just shit. I haven't gone to Tumblr yet other than for porn, but i think they are great.

I used to flip through all 999 channel numbers looking for something worthwhile and then settling on food network because I'm too poor and lazy to cook

occasionally there's a series I want to see like better call saul or rick and morty, but if we're going to be that specific then they might as well be viewed online...which I do. I don't have cable.

Well, as a matter of fact you can find good topics and good posters on 4chan.
It's a bit like sifting through the trash sometimes, but I personally don't mind.

So yeah. There's "channels" here that should fit your taste. Just a matter of patience.
If that's too much for you then you're in the right to look for another website.

If you're interested in learning about all this, you can go look up what low/pop culture is. this definitely isn't megagenius stuff, and I never meant to come off that way.

pop culture includes a lot of awesome things, and nobody is strictly high or low culture, but someone who had harmful or unrewarding experiences with popular culture might want to make a shift away from it.
