Tips for someone who wants to jog to improve his condition? I don't want to be extremely tryhard about it but if there's anything I should know, feel free to post.
One question though, what's the correct way to breathe? Inhale through the nose, exhale through the mouth?

Pick only one. What you probably want is called swimming.
And or losing fat.

Jogging will just kill your knees. Try just walking to job/school by foot instead.

Depends on how fast you go. When I run, I breathe in through my mouth, deep into my belly, and naturally let the air out through my mouth. Then again, my nose is fucked up, so it may work different for you. I don't recommend jogging. Like the other anon said, it will ruin your knees. Go for long walks, or take up swimming. I advise against running because that involves form, or you'll fuck up your legs like I did. Bicycling too- if you don't have the seat at the right height, you'll fuck up your knees.
