Having said that in my experience VERY few people really honestly dedicate themselves to treating people well, especially people they don't personally care about. People hurt others by living and a lot of people are not morally refined and need to actually experience being on the other side, or growing older, before they wisen up. Even people who on paper are very concerned with others, fuck up in their own ways. I don't think it's unreasonable however to find people who are not -this- extreme in their egotism, who have a bigger sense of responsibility and empathy. But it will be harder to find those.
