Most women I know have fairly broad taste for guys: they do like big, muscular guys, but they'll also like your average guy with a dad body or a guy on the skinnier side.
I've been equally attracted by all the guys I dated, and they couldn't be more different, in terms of weight, height and muscles.
You can definitely find a woman who loves you and likes you physically, even if she's also attracted by ripped dudes and you aren't like that.

I think it's the same for guys - you might ideally want to date a Victoria Secret model, but even if your girlfriend is average it's not like it won't get your dick hard.

Here's two things to consider and try:

1.) Increase your confidence in your body by working out. If you're not happy with the way you look, you can change it. But it has to be YOU who is not happy and ONLY YOU, not others.

2.) Don't worry about it. I see so many guys who are skinny, short, not white etc. who have girlfriends. Those girls would NOT be with them if they weren't attracted. The fact that a girl was with YOU means she found the current YOU attractive.

I used to be just like you, I cared a lot about being skinny because I thought girls hated it. My shoulders broadened up a bit and I have some biceps from the work I do (plus getting older fills guys out I guess) but I still get comments about how "small" I am. The thing is those are their own judgement which stem from their own insecurities or perceptions and they should not affect how you think of yourself. Only you can decide if you're "too skinny", and to me it doesn't matter as long as you eat good food and don't let yourself go starving for hours on end.

OP: you need to gain weight. My advice to you is to mix protein powder into vegetable juice and then drink that brown mud down between lifts. What you're looking for is hypertrophy, and this is how it works. Also you need to eat lots and lots of chicken and beef and fish. Chicken is the cheap option, don't use sliced sandwich meat to get your protein requirements. Oatmeal and milk are good filler material but not a good foundation. Eat meat.

I don't know about where you guys are at, but in southern California I can get skinless boneless chicken breast for $2 (US) a pound. Pan fry it in big batches and try to go through 2~4 pounds a week. Put it on salad, put it next to potatoes; just keep eating chicken.

Also heat up oatmeal with milk and butter. If it looks like gluey sludge then microwave it a little more (medium power not full) and it should look like soft moist oats. Eat oatmeal instead of packaged snacks to be healthy and happy.

1. Women don't spend their time fantasizing over muscle men, just like men all women have preferences for different things. I rarely hear about a gf describing that she wants a buff dude.

2. If I know what women like, and granted I do have the advantage since I am a woman, but women like to see confidence and whatnot.

3. Going from personal experience, a woman who wants a relationship wont be super concerned about how many muscles a dude has. So no it's not about money, it's more about the connection and chemistry we share with a partner.
