What about a Trump game where you try to dominate Ivanka for Pure Trump Genes and Chelsea Clinton to win the presidency? The grind could be giving ridiculous speeches, the more popular Trump gets the more he is rewarded by Ivanka and/or placated by the Clinton team with Chelsea. It would start at a party or wedding both families attended, where I'm sure the deal was struck for Trump to enter the race. The goal of the Don would be to turn Hillary's expectations around on her. The ending phase would be one or both of them coming to live as your sex slave with you at all times, which will also be the last week of the campaign. You can either dominate the woman(en) or campaign to win, or if their corruption levels are high enough, you can dominate them while campaigning, somehow propelling the Don into the white house for the "Perfect End" with ensuing shenanigans in the epilogue. There would be tiers of success below that, winning the presidency without dominating the girls (featuring some mild reward from one or both girls in the epilogue), losing the presidency while dominating just one could feature in the epilogue the girl dominated being used as a consolation prize for his supporters, and not winning the presidency but doing some really crazy public humiliation to both of them ending on the new Trump networks, sure to start after his failure.

How do I have a "complete day" setup like in Princess or Witch Trainer, in which you perform certain actions during a day, then go to sleep to progress the game to the next day? And, tying on from that, how can I create a set of daily "incomes"? Say you buy a shop which will give you 50 Gold per day, how could I implement that? (Considering that there may be many different sources of income, and some may even have higher tiers of income as you "level them up")

Here's a simple guideline you can try to follow

1. implement time cycle that advances with interaction
2. each time the cycle hits its base (morning noon night = every 3) check if a specific building / structure / item exists. Or, keep a list of what each character owns, income wise. Probably implement as an object with a foo.income property
3. if it exists, for each shop owned, add money equal to some_shop.income to the characters inventory

Create a global variable that has an initial value of 1. (Time)

Then you'd simply cycle through them.
For instance you'd start on the Day label then as you cycle through them, you'd set the value of the variable to equal that of the label.

For instance, if you're on the day label, your variable would equal 1

if you're on the midday label, your variable would equal 2

If you're on the night label, the variable would equal 3

Then when the player sleeps, the variable goes back to 1.

For the income, that would be really simple. You'd go into your sleep section (assume it's a label for this instance.) You'd go into the sleep label and simply put the line $Gold += 50.
That way every time the player sleeps, they'd get 50 gold.
