I've always had mixed feelings on Sketchman. On one hand I've never considered him a "good" artist, but at the same time I feel like my greviences against him (odd anatomy, occasionally laughable faces/expressions, weird gell-filled diapers) are just me nitpicking.

Thing is, if you agree to terms and conditions (Eg; not distributing it to the public, or make them for re-sale) when purchasing a product or service, you are, in fact, breaking the law. Yes and no. There were times I got off to my own stuff easily, but there were other times I couldn't look at my own stuff at all, but that's just a personal thing. Really though, you should be drawing for yourself to satisfy what you want to see first before doing it for other people. Common sense and historical precedent. I am sorry, Fox with Momsterous and Baboon with Lafwirm would both like to claim that they're "working on it". The phrase "working on it" is a project's death rattle. The last blog update from Momsterous was status on porting the project from VX to MV, which tells me Fox got enthusiastic because he had a new toy to play with for a few days, not because he did any actual work. Fox is a bad case to start with, even years before Momsterous he was infamous for not finishing anything he started (namely stories he wrote and published on FTT).

Baboon is in the same state, and even worse has a Patreon and is taking people's chump change on something he'll likely never deliver on. Again, same problem, that he's "working on it". Not "working on it every day" or "working on it X hours per week" but just "working on it", in fact not even any mention what specifically is being worked on like features, environments, scripting, story arcs, etc, which in all likely hood means "thinking about it occasionally and adding content and features to the game on an ever rarer basis than that". Last I heard Lafwirm would be getting an update Summer 2016. Summer is almost over.

Making games, even RPG maker games, is time consuming. The formula tends to be around 100 hours of work to get 1 hour of content. But that's just it, how long have these games been supposedly "worked on" without any content added? Years. Years of time to do something, with nothing happening.
