The main problem with the anime dolls is no one looks exciting naked. The characters are at their hottest when they're down to 2-3 articles of clothing. Pretty damn good game otherwise, it's cute and makes really solid buildup fapping before switching to actual porn of the characters you beat.

Let me clarify - to create the image assets for the game, you first make all the poses in Kisekae, then export all of the codes into one big .txt file. Then you use some fancy conversion thingy to convert the poses into transparent .png files (there are tutorials on the subreddit for when you get to that point).

Once those .png files are exported, then you can open them in Photoshop and play around. Really, you could use any .png file, but we use Kisekae because it's easy for anyone to use, and it maintains some form of consistency.

In the actual game she claimed she'd only ever show them to people she'd trust, trust like... familial level trust. And then she flirts a little bit by asking the protagonist if he'd like an invitation. I have to say this was a pretty good portrayal of her, as someone who actually HAS played the games. I mean, I kind of doubt she'd have taken the gloves off at all if the character's programmer didn't force that aspect.

She's pretty much the perfect kuudere, in that she hides her emotions most of the time due to both her job and her backstory. But the game goes out of its way to let you know that she DOES feel emotions, even if she's usually hiding them. Especially if you spend time with her during free time stuff, where she pretends to get upset because she pretended to be manipulated by the protagonist's compliment intended to get her smiling or flustered. and then shifts to a "You're FAR too easy to read." immediately after. And she's not perfect about keeping them in check, either. She has a few things that DOES get her emotional, and they almost all have something to do with her past and family...

I'm just going to state that I didn't intend to gush about her so much, I just have this mentally prepared because people keep calling her a mary sue, simply because the game basically subverted expectations by making the player character control the supporting protagonist as opposed to the main one, that being her.

I don't really lurk the subreddit that much but when I do I mostly only see really shitty looking characters people post. Thankfully none of them ever get far because they're fucking terrible.

My vote goes for Moon. She has the most "unique" lines in the game, yet none of them are actually unique. They're all just really awful repeats of some of the most cringeworthy dialogue I have ever read. The author couldn't have done a better job shouting "I'm a virgin" if he tried.

I saw a lot of people complaining about that whole aging up to 18 rule thing last thread. Hopefully I can calm some of that panic and outrage.

They only say that shit and make those rules because they have to. They're scared and probably way too overly cautious about it, but the truth of the matter is they're really not that strict at all about it. They have to make sure the characters at least don't look like children not for the sake of the subreddit, but for the sake of the people who host the game, which is gitlab. Some people said just don't use gitlab, but it would cost a lot of money to host it by themselves so gitlab is the best they've got.

But it's not even that big of a deal. We still have characters in the game as well as characters that are still being added to the game like Zizou who look a bit on the younger side but overall they pass and no one complains about them.

Unless you want to put a character in that literally looks like he/she is 10 years old, it's not an issue. They say you have to hamfist in dialogue about them being 18, you don't have to do that shit. They say you have to but I can't recall one character that actually does that aside from Kim maybe having one line about going to a university or something.

People were bitching about the OC Caleb being removed but lets be honest here he clearly looked younger than most of the other characters. Not only that, he's a fucking OC. If the game is getting limited for space, I don't want some gay fucking OC in it instead of a real character, and I'm sure most people think the same way regardless of how they feel with his age.

Almost every model that's posted on reddit isn't ready for the game. You can't just import them in because 80% of the time the people who post characters on reddit only post their art because they're dumb lazy fucks that think someone else will do everything else for them. They have no dialogue or poses, so it's impossible to even put them in the game.

The ones in the game are the only characters you can currently play, but usually there's a new character added every few weeks or so. You can also play the WIP characters which there are quite a lot of by hitting Select Group and scrolling to the Unfinished tables.

I think there are like 70ish characters in the game or something? Maybe I'm wrong. Still a pretty big roster though.

Motherfucker this program's not even out yet and it's already a god damn godsend. I might actually accomplish something for once in my fuckin' life.

First of all, I'd like to say I'm glad I picked an easy character design for my first. This is my first character made using Kisekae, and god damn do I hate it. At least I can spend my time waiting for the character editor to come out by trying to make some poses, and maybe improve the design if I can. There's a few design choices I'm currently not 100% sure on. I tried making her pupils pure black with no catchlights to give her a creepy, dead stare, but that might be too much. I don't know yet if I want her to stand like in the show, or float like in the book. I'm still debating the exact size and position of her bow, and whether or not she'll remove it with the rest of her clothes or not. And finally, I'm on the fence as to whether I should have her wear pantyhose or fishnet stockings. Maybe a garter belt if I can find one. Also if anybody can tell me how to make the dress longer, or how to get gloves that go over sleeves, that'd be much appreciated.

Now I have a bit of dialogue planned out for her already, which is more than I can say for a lot of lazy assholes out there. I have some targeted dialogue thought up for Marceline, Spooky, Daria, Twilight, and Kyoko, and some dialogue targeted towards 'shy' and 'creepy' characters. My only problem is I suck at writing dialogue. Like, practically George Lucas without an editor levels of bad. I don't wanna be one of those assholes that tries to outsource all the work to somebody else, so I just hope whatever I come up with won't be too cringeworthy. Though judging by Moon, Samus, and a couple other characters, I should be okay, comparatively.

It's kind of a pain in the ass, but a lot of people use belts.

First of all, put a short-sleeved, v-neck sweater on her, with the colors needed. Then go to the belt tab, make sure to select what I have circled here, then color it and move it around as needed. Thankfully, you're putting most of them on the torso, and the belts will move with the torso as you pose. Any belts you put on limbs, however, you'll have to re-pose each time.

It's basically impossible. No one has ever made clothes from scratch before in photoshop. They've edited things onto clothes in photoshop before, but never fabricated the clothes from scratch.

So what you can do is photoshop in the purple stripes. But she's supposed to have a sweatshirt and your top doesn't really resemble that too well, or at all actually. She's also thick and tall as fuck which I guess is your way of aging her up but I don't think she needs to be aged that far up. The hair should be more bushy and full like Yang or Blake's hair. Although opening their codes up in kisekae I see that their hair is incredibly complex and definitely not something a beginner can do.

Maybe you can see how far you can get and then try handing it off to someone more experienced to touch it up?

I was under the impression that you could take your rendered out .png files, and just add onto them, unless they are restricted to their character outlines. . .

You can, but I was saying it's not plausible whatsoever to create clothes from scratch.

But like you said, you can easily add on to them. That's what I was saying with adding the purple stripes.

Editing the clothes is one thing, fabricating them out of thin air via photoshop is another.
