Why are the animations in Karmasutra so FUCKING slow?

Like I'm fine having a grindy, turn-based thing like this, but the battles themselves take like 5 minutes a piece because there's no way to skip the animations. Every time I open the game I'll play for 15 minutes and then give up because it's so god damned tedious with no payoff.

At least give me a way to click through the animations or turn them off so the battles can take 1/10 of the time they currently do.

Ren'Py is fine for storing variables and keeping track of flags, etc. which is what it seems like all you're trying to do. You just throw in little lines or blocks of Python code into it when Ren'Py doesn't have the built-in functionality to manipulate the variables the way you want.
