The common idea with both would be that they would be very competent. Like, the knight might be serious and aloof at the start with people but quickly warm up to them if they prove they can keep up with him (in the job, I mean) and has a more tender side towards friends. The barbarian, on the other hand, would have a much more casual and even disrespectful attitude, but in a lot of cases it would just be a deceptive attitude (not that it wouldn't be genuine in the rest, just that he might hide his anger for a bit until he can one up whoever he's targeting).

You know, I was actually considering making it an orc mc if I went with the barbarian option...

As for waifus, I'm basically trying to find a good balance between numbers and races so the mc has good options, or even a varied harem. Was planning to have the ending vary based on two factors: how he ends the plot, and who he ends up with. One ending for each girl being the single waifu, one for harem ending. Maybe one for no one, though I'm not sure who the hell would actually pick that.

As for cucking/sharing/whatever the fuck involves dicks other than mc's, I was planning to have every male friendly npc either be celibate for whatever reason or have their own fling going on in the background. I would add some non-friendly npcs with interest in the waifus, but not write actual scenes. Maybe there would be some scenario where they get them, but it would probably be in a situation where the player fucked up tremendously several times despite warnings and I wouldn't add a scene for it because I'm just not into that.
