And that's FASTER than it would actually be if you played the game. And it doesn't count the fucking years it would take to build up to that level of currency generation.

With the rise of paid Early Access content and monthly subscriptions for unfinished products, would those who spend money on these games rather put up with the slowly pushed out content or wait to pay a lump sum?
I understand that the monthly subscription based formats get the developers money to continue developing but isn't this kind of thing exactly what ends up making consumers uninterested in a product?

Yeah I get that, but some of these people are funded through other art venues. It would be too much to ask for them to start off using their own profits. At the same time some of the developers and/or artists have their minds set on these epic visual novels that ark through hours of "gameplay". I finished day 9 just now (been a busy week so just now found time), and I am becoming more and more suspicious that some of these games (DmD and Big Brother in particular) are written by women either in full or in part.

You can tell a woman's writing with about 80% accuracy by looking for certain words/phrases/reaction patterns. This scene (pic), for example. The writer decides that the man would want to go to the changing room to remove his swim trunks. Think about that for a second. A man would just rip those fuckers off. It makes no difference to him since she's going to see his dick one way or the other. It's a woman who's natural reaction would be to go to a change room/bathroom to get naked. So I suggest it's a women projecting that thought process into the MC here in DmD.

There are lot of other examples. This guy is basically the ultimate sensitive male that every woman wants on date night, then he magically turns into an alpha-MarySue whenever a bad guy shows up (even on the first date, he was sucker punched instead of losing a fair fight). A man would not write a beta/alpha convertible because there's no appeal in that to a man and it's not realistic. But to a woman? They'd have to change panties after reading this VN because he was pretty much constructed to be a woman's ideal of a man that is the best of both worlds (let's not forget he's rich, too, though that was played down after the first few days).

Big Brother is the same way. There's red flags all over the place in how the MC constantly reacts to situations like a woman (passive aggressive, manipulation, trickery, tearing down others instead of self-improving, rarely confronting head on, and running away or apologizing instantly when he finally does, etc.). An 18 year old man wouldn't behave like that. He'd work on his own situation instead of destroying the world around him until it was on his level. That is 100% female mindset.
